    Wayne C. Stoelting, age 77, of Bergholz, was called to his heavenly home at his residence on May 31, 2015 while under the care of his loving family and Niagara Hospice. Born May 17, 1938 in North Tonawanda, NY, he was the son of the late Erwin and Ruth (Stenzel) Stoelting.

    Wayne was the owner of Stoelting Machine, Inc. on Niagara Falls Blvd., a life long member of Holy Ghost Lutheran Church in Bergholz where he served as a past elder, school board president and basketball coach. He was also a member of the Bergholz Fire Company for 56 years and was a past president and chief, Niagara County Fire Association, Niagara County Chief's Association, WNYVFA, FASNY, Niagara County Sheriff's Snowmobile Patrol, Wheatfield Business Association, a founding member and past president of Tri-Community Ambulance Service, Inc., and founding member of the Bergholz German Band. Hobbies and interests included fast pitch softball, bowling, gardening, and spending quality time with his family.

    Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Karen (DeVantier) Stoelting, who were united in marriage on February 20, 1960; four children, Dennis (Diane) Stoelting, Gail (late Mark) Carrier, Laura (Steve) Rohring and Jonathan Stoelting; nine grandchildren, Christine, Hannah, Cory, Emma, Alex, Jake, Luke, Rachel and Grace; a brother, Marvin (late Phyllis) Stoelting; sister, Nancy (Leonard) Wienke; and several nieces and nephews.

    Friends may call at the DUBOIS FUNERAL HOME (731-3234), 2436 Niagara Road, (Bergholz) in Wheatfield on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. Services will be conducted by the Rev. Philip N. Sallach, on Friday at 4:00 p.m. in Holy Ghost Lutheran Church, corner Niagara Road and Luther Street in Bergholz. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Holy Ghost Lutheran Church & School, or to Niagara Hospice.

    attended Holy Ghost Lutheran School and graduated from Niagara Falls High School. She was united in marriage to Marvin E. Werth on August 16th, 1958 in Holy Ghost Lutheran Church. June was the secretary of St. John Ev. Lutheran Church and School since 1970, where she was also an active member., including singing in the church choir. She was a former secretary for Branch 965 of the Aid Association for Lutherans, now known as Thrivent, and worked on many other charitable activities, including the Big Brother and Big Sister program. her hobbies and interests included crafts, computers, singing, traveling, and her grandchildren.

    the double-ring ceremony.
    Satin bows and gladioli marked the family
    pews. Erwin Bangert was organist and the Rev.

    THE BRIDE, who is the daughter of Mr.
    and Mrs. Eric A. Walck. Ward Rd., Sanborn.
    was given in marriage by her father to the son
    of Mrs. George Mueller, Ward Rd., North
    Tonawanda.
    'A gown of white rosepoint lace, nylon tulle
    and satin was the choice of the bride. It was
    styled with a mandarin collar of lace with an
    appliqued fusion neckline. Her full skirt had
    a pleated tulle front insert with a lace cascade
    and it continued to a chapel-length train at the
    back. A lace pillbox held her double illusion

    MISS DOLORES JAGOW. maid of honor,
    chase a turquoise crystallette gown fashioned
    with a cowl neckline and fitted bodice with a
    fully gathered skirt which formed a bustle at
    the back. A pillbox headpiece graced with lace
    medallions and dotted with rhinestones competed
    her ensemble. She carried a diamond shaped
    bouquet of shrimp colored carnations and
    stephanotis.
    Mrs. Albert G. Walck. sister-law of the
    bride. Miss Bonnie Moeller, cousin of the bridegroom
    and Miss Helen Stoelting, as bridesmaids,
    were attired in shrimp colored gowns styled similarly
    to the honor attendant's. They carried bouquets
    of turquoise carnations. Miss Barbara
    Hasely, niece of the bride, was flower girt.

    TOWN OF WHEATFIELD - Erwin C. Stoelting, 63, of 2403 Niagara Road, died Monday (Nov. 2, 1970) at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center. He was a lifelong resident of this community where he operated the Stoelting Machine Inc. since 1941. He was a member of the Bergholtz Volunteer Fire County, a past assistant fire chief of the company, a member of the Town of Wheatfield Business Association, Niagara County Volunteer Firemen's Association, a life member of the Western New York and the New York State Volunteer Fireman's Associations and a member of the Niagara County Fire Chiefs Association.
    He is survived by his widow, the former Ruth Stenzel; two, sons, Marvin E. of Sanborn, and Wayne C., of this community, a daughter, Mrs. Leonard (Nancy) Wienke of Sanborn; and seven grandchildren; a brother, Arthur Stoelting; and two sisters, Mrs. Phillip Milleville, and Mrs. Wallace Haseley, all of Town of Wheatfield.
    Friend's may call until noon Thursday at the Fretthold Funeral Home where services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Holy Ghost Lutheran Church by Rev. Albert W. Bahr. Burial will be in Holy Ghost Cemetery.

    STOELTING-STENZEL

    A very pretty wedding was solemnized
    last Saturday afternoon June first
    the Saint Johns Lutheran church on
    the Ward Road, Bergholtz, when Miss
    Ruth Stenzel, daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
    Charles Stenzel of the Bufalo
    Boulevard was united to marriage
    Mr. Irvln Stoeltlng oldest son of Mr.
    and Mrs. Julius Stoeltlng of of this village
    the Rev. Walter Thlenucke officiating.
    Promptly at four thirty o'clock day
    light saving time the bridal party march-
    ed the church to the strains of the
    Wedding March which was played by
    teacher H. Huebner at the organ. The
    bride, who was given away by her fa-
    ther. looked beautiful In a white
    satin gown. She wore a tuele veil and
    carried a shower bouquet of white
    sweetheart roses, valley lillies and
    lax tied with white satin streamers.
    Miss M. Stenzel, slater of the bride, was
    maid of honor and looked lovely in
    a flesh color gown and carried a bou-
    quct of pink Klllarney roses and
    lax. Miss Lorona Stoeltlng, sister of the
    groom was brides maid and looked very
    charming in a Nile green gown. She
    caried Klllarney roses. Carl Stenzel,
    brother of the bride was usher and
    Arthur Stoeltlng. the grooms brother
    acted as best man. The groom and his
    brother came from the sacristy to the
    altar where the groom met the bride.
    After the ceremony a reception was held
    at the liome of the bride where a
    course chicken dinner was served
    to about thirty-five guests.
    Mr. and Mrs. Stoelting received many
    pretty gifts. After s short weding trip
    they will live on the Buffalo
    boulevard.

    Mrs. DeVantier died Thursday (May 12, 1994) in Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center after suffering a heart attack.
    The former Leona Grawe was a lifelong resident of Wheatfield. She was a member of St. James Lutheran Church and the Wheatfield Senior Citizens. She was a past Sunday school teacher.
    Her husband, John W. DeVantier, died in 1977.

    One of the prettiest weddings of the
    season was solemnized at Bergholtz
    on Sunday afternoon, June 14, at the
    Holky Ghost church when Miss Elea-
    nor Stoelting, daughter of Mr. and
    Mrs. Albert Stoelting, was united in
    marriage to Erick Walck, son of Mr.
    and Mrs. Albert Walck of Sanbornm,
    the Rev. J. R. Kuchenbecker officiat-
    ing.
    Promptly at twelve o'clock to the
    strains of Lohengrin's wedding march
    played by Walter Urtel, the bridal
    party entered the church which was
    attractively decorated with ferns,
    peonies, and cut flowers. The bride
    looked charming in a gown of white
    satin back crepe, trimmed with lace
    and pearls and carried a shower
    bouquet of roses and lilies of the val-
    ley. Her veil was trimmed with
    Dutchess lace in coronet style and was
    embroidered. The maid of honor,
    Miss Louise Walck, sistrer of the
    groom, was dressed in peach color
    crepe, carried pink roses and smilax
    a wore a picture hat.
    The bride's maids, Miss Ruth Du-
    Bois wore a yellow crepe dress and
    carried roses and ferns. Miss a.
    Jagow wore a pink crepe dress and
    carried roses and ferns. Miss Cora
    Obenhaus was dressed in yellow
    crepe and carried roses and ferns.
    They all wore picture hats of silk
    maline to match their gowns. Little
    Alice Stoelting, sister of the bride
    was glower girl and was dressed in
    white crepe. She carried pink and
    white sweet peas in a white basket.
    The ushers were Ben Devantier, Ed-
    ward Mueller, A. Stoelting, H. Stoelt-
    ing, F. Stoelting and I. Stoelting.
    The double ring service was used.
    A solo was given by Mrs. Eleanor
    Ferchen Williams, with Miss Adelia
    Ferchen at the organ. Benediction
    followed the ceremony. a receiption
    was held at the home of the groom
    the decorations being pink and white,
    about 150 guests were present.
    The bride's table was set for 40 and
    was centered with a large wedding
    cake, roses, peonies and ferns. The
    young couple received many beautiful
    gifts. Out of town guests were pre-
    ent from Electra, Texas, Ill.,, Tona-
    wanda, Cambria and Niagara Falls.
