    David J. Meisenburg, of Wheatfield, NY died tragically in a motor vehicle accident on August, 18,2022. Born in North Tonawanda, NY on September 18, 1946. He was the son to the late Franklin and Ruth Meisenburg. David attended Starpoint High School, NCCC and University at Buffalo with a Bachelor of Science degree in criminal justice. He served his country in the U.S. Navy from 1966-1970 and in the Air National Guard 1986-1988. He was awarded several military honors including: Armed Forces Expeditionary (Korea), National Defense Service Medal (Cold War) and a Bronze Star (Vietnam). He worked for GM/Harrison Radiator, Wyndham Lawn Residential Home and Niagara County Jail where he worked as a Corrections Officer, retiring in 2018. He was an active member of Cornerstone Bible Baptist Church in Sanborn. He enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson bike, relaxing at his camper in the Southern Tier, sharing stories and telling corny jokes with his family to which he was affectionately called, “Boompa”. He was “rarely” seen without his dog, Daisy, who he enjoyed taking for walks at the park.Survivors include his wife, Patt (Altemus) Meisenburg to whom he was married for 51 yrs, two children, Melissa (Mark) Milleville of Wheatfield, NY and David Meisenburg from Lockport, NY. He had 4 sisters, Carol (Ernie) Bowerman, Lori (Mark) Hinman, Beth (Denny) Thompson and was predeceased by his sister Denise (Mark) Ward and a brother, Franklin (Louise) Meisenburg. Grandchildren include Christian and Molly Milleville, Dean and Katlin Purpura. He also leaves behind several nieces, nephews, and friends who will miss him greatly.A Memorial Service will be held Tuesday (8/23) at 4:00 at Cornerstone Bible Baptist Church, 5810 Buffalo Street, Sanborn, NY 14132 with Pastor John Britt officiating. Friends and family are invited to a light dinner reception immediately following at St. James Lutheran Church 2437 Niagara Road, Niagara Falls, NY 14304.     William E Milleville, a lifelong resident of the Town of Wheatfield, died today (May 22, 1961) at Mt. St. Mary's Hospita1 after a month's illness. Mr. Milleville, who resided at 2808 Niagara Falls Blvd., was employed for 30 years at the Milleville Dairy. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Hilda Milleville; three sons, Kent, Dennis and Dean Milleville, all at home; two sisters, Mrs. Carl Geltz and Mrs. George Meyers, this city, and five brothers, Rudolph Milleville, this city; Herbert Milleville, North Tonawanda; Theodore, Edward and Phillip Milleville, Town of Wheatfield. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at the home and at St. James Church, Bergholtz, at times to be announced. Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Park Cemetery

    Hilda E. Milleville, a member of St. James Lutheran Church, died Tuesday (Aug. 15, 2000) in Northgate Health Care Facility. The former Hilda Pfitzinger was born in Columbia, Mich., and moved to Pendleton in 1925. She moved to Wheatfield in 1936, and had been a resident of the facility since last year.
    Mrs. Milleville worked as a finisher for the former Wurlitzer Co. in North Tonawanda for several years. For most of her life, however, she was a homemaker. Her husband, William, died in 1962.
    Survivors include three sons, Kent, Dennis and Dean; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
    Services will be held at 10:30 A.M. Friday in St. James Lutheran Church, Niagara Road and Rohr Street, Bergholz. Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Park, Amherst.

    Services for Admiral L. Haag, a retired truck driver, will be held at 2 P.M. Sunday in DuBois Funeral Home, 2436 Niagara Road. Burial will be in Holy Ghost Lutheran Cemetery.
    Haag, 71, of Washington Street, died Wednesday (March 3, 1993) in DeGraff Memorial Hospital, North Tonawanda, after a long illness.
    A native of Curwensville, Pa., he served in the Army during World War II. He was a life member of the Disabled American Veterans and a member of Local 449, Teamsters Union, of Buffalo and Holy Ghost Lutheran Church.
    Haag was a truck driver before he retired. He also was an avid collector of antique cars.
    Survivors include his wife, the former Beulah Mante; a daughter, Marjorie Milleville of Wheatfield; two brothers, Marlin of Canon City, Colo., and Donald Bennett of Albion, Pa.; and two grandsons.

    Beulah L. Haag (Mante) age 82 of Wheatfield, was called to her heavenly home on Thursday, October 18, 2007 while at the Elderwood Health Care Center at CrestWood. Born in the Town of Wheatfield, Niagara County, NY on December 11, 1924 to the late Reinhard and Lillian (Volkstedt) Mante. She was a life long member of Holy Ghost Lutheran Church in Bergholz and was employed at the former Wurlitzer Company in North Tonawanda. Beulah also enjoyed waitressing at several local restaurants over the years, and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was pre-deceased by her husband, Admiral L. Haag on March 3, 1993 and a brother, David Mante. Survivors include her daughter, Marjorie (Dennis) Milleville; two grandchildren: Scott (fiancee Julie) Milleville and Mark (Melissa) Milleville; four great-grandchildren: Chelsey, Bailey, Christian and Molly all of Wheatfield; two nephews and two nieces. Friends may call at the DUBOIS FUNERAL HOME, 2436 Niagara Road, (Bergholz) in Wheatfield on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. Services will be conducted by the Rev. Philip N. Sallach on Monday at 4:30 P.M. in the funeral home, followed with an interment in Holy Ghost Lutheran Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Holy Ghost Lutheran School, or In Touch Ministrie.

    Walter F. Schulz, 77, of Northway Drive, a life member of the Sanborn Fire Company band, died Wednesday (April 16, 1997) in Erie County Medical Center, Buffalo, after a long illness.

    A veteran of World War II, he served in the U.S. Army in Okinawa.
    Schulz worked at Kimberly-Clark Corp. in Niagara Falls for 17 years and then worked for Eastman Kodak, retiring in 1982.
    He attended Community Bible Church, Cambria.
    Survivors include his wife, the former June Laughlin; three daughters, Carol Croff of Niagara Falls, Andrea Bainbridge of Amherst and Patricia Meisenburg of Wheatfield; a brother, Bruno of Freeland, Wash.; seven grandchildren-; and five great-grandchildren.

    Alice J. Schulz, 82, who worked as a senior companion with Niagara County Senior Companion for the past 10 years, died Thursday (Aug. 28, 2003) in Erie County Medical Center from injuries she suffered in a car accident July 25 on Shawnee Road south of Slusaric Road.
    The former Alice Laughlin was born in Chicago and moved to Niagara Falls with her family as a child.
    She was a graduate of Niagara Falls High School and later received her licensed practical nurse degree from Trott Vocational School.
    Mrs. Schulz enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and her family.
    Her husband, Walter, died in 1997.
    Survivors include three daughters, Carol Croff of Niagara Falls, Andrea Bainbridge of Amherst and Patricia A. Meisenburg of Wheatfield; four brothers, Dave Laughlin of Wheaton, ILl., Velzie Laughlin of Lockport, Ronald Laughlin of the Town of Tonawanda and Daniel Laughlin of Kentucky; a sister, Beulah DeLelio of Wheatfield; seven grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
    Services will be held at 10 A.M. Monday in Lighthouse Baptist Church, 383 Wheatfield St., North Tonawanda
