    FacebookTwitterredditOlive Marie "Ollie" Chaddock (Williams), 93, passed peacefully in the company of her beloved sister, Elaine, at her residence in Port Orange, FL. Ollie was born in Niagara Falls, NY, to Eleanor (Ferchen) and Arthur Williams.
    The family came to Florida in 1960 where Ollie continued raising her family and began a 15-year career as an accountant clerk and cashier for the Brevard County School Board. She has been a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church for 40 years.
    Second to Ollie's love for her family and faith was her passion for gardening. Mounds of coffee grounds and love went into making the backyard of her longtime residence in Titusville an earthly paradise. Ollie also enjoyed traveling about the country as well as abroad.
    Ollie is survived by her three children, Thomas, Amy, and Paul Jr.; three grandchildren, Nicole, Chad, and Michelle; and her two sisters, Elaine Eichin and June Stenzel.

    Bergholtz, for the ceremony Saturday
    a! 3:30 p.m., uniting in marriage
    Miss Olive M. Williams and
    Mr. Paul Chaddock.
    The Rev. Victor Dahlke officiated
    at the double ring ceremony between
    the daughter of Mr..and Mrs. Arthur
    J. Williams, Cayuga drive,, and the
    son of Mrs. Florence Chaddock,
    Seventy-eighth street.
    The bride was attired In a, twopiece
    ice blue brocade satin dress,
    fashioned -with long sleeves and a
    circular skirt, with, matching hat
    and shoes. She carried a white satin
    prayer book topped with a white
    orchid and lilies-of-the-valley. She
    wore a rhinestone bracelet, the gift
    of the bridegroom.
    Miss Elaine R. Williams was her
    sister's only attendant. Her light
    honey-colored silk brocade dress was
    trimmed with brown velvet and she
    wore beige accessories. Yellow rosebuds
    topped the yellow prayer book
    she carried. Her rhinestone bracelet
    was the gift of the bride.
    Mr. Douglas Monroe, only cousin
    of the bridegroom, was best man.
    Preceding the ceremony, Mrs.
    Edward Eggert, aunt of the bride
    and organist, played "Oh, Perfect
    Love," "Still As the Night," "Let
    Us Ever Walk With Jesus." *The
    Lord Is My Shepherd" and, "With
    The Lord Begin Thy Task" She
    also accompanied Mrs. Laura
    Ferchen -Martin, cousin of the bride
    who sang "My Shepherd" by Sczy-
    manski.,
    . The mother of the. bride wore a
    navy blue silk lace dress with matching
    accessories. The bridegroom's
    mother chose an aqua silk crepe
    frock: Each wore a lavender orchid
    corsage.
    Following the ceremony the reception
    was. held at the home of
    the bride's parents. The bride's
    table, covered with a lace cloth
    was centered with a four-tiered wed-
    ding cake topped with a miniature
    bride and bridegroom and.;flanked
    by tapers.
    "Mr. 'and Mrs. Chaddock are
    spending their wedding .trip in the
    Adirondack mountains For travel-
    ing, the bride wore a gray dress
    with matching fur, coat and hat.
    Her ensemble was complimented
    with an orchid corsage. Upon their
    return, Mr. and Mrs.'Chaddock
    will reside in .Whitney avenue.

    Eleanor E. (Ferchen) Williams, 85, of 10831 Cayuga Drive died Friday (June 5, 1981) in Mount St. Mary's Hospital.
    She was a member of Holy Ghost Lutheran Church, Lutheran Women's Missionary League, Ladies Aide (sic), Society and former member of the church choir.
    Surviving are her husband, Arthur J. Williams of Niagara Falls; four daughters, Mrs. Charles (Bernice) Forsey and Mrs. Myron (June) Stenzel both of Wheatfield; Mrs. Paul (Olive) Chaddosk and Mrs. Alvin (Elaine) Eichin both of Titusville, Fla; a sister, Mrs. Adelia Eggert of Wheatfield; also 16 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
    Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the Holy Ghost Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Albert Bahr officiating. Burial will be Holy Ghost Lutheran Cemetery.
    Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., today at the Fretthold Funeral Home Inc., 1241 Oliver St., North Tonawanda.
    Memorials may be made to Holy Ghost Lutheran Church Building Fund or Lutheran Bible Translators, the family said.

    The evening was pleasantly spent in
    games and music. Luncheon was serv-
    ed for twelve at a table centered
    with a wedding cake, favors being of
    tiny bags of rice. Miss Ferchen was
    the recipient of a number of attractive
    gifts.

    Funeral of Retired Farmer Will Be Held on Tuesday.
    BERGHOLTZ, Jan. 24.-Albert(?) Williams, 69 years old, retired farmer and one of the best known residents of the Bergholtz district, died late yesterday afternoon at the family home on the Falls-Buffalo boulevard. Mr. Williams, was seized with a heart attack and was ill only a few hours. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the home and at 2:30 from the Holy Ghost church, Bergholtz, of which he was a member. Interment will he in Holy Ghost cemetery.
    Mr. Williams is survived by his wife, Mrs. Auguste Mueller Williams; one daughter, Mrs. Henry Siegman, of St. Johnsburg; one son Arthur, of this village; three grandchildren; his mother, Mrs. Mary Williams, of Niagara Falls; one brother, Edward, of Lockport, and two sisters, Mrs. Louise Kandt, of Lockport, and Mrs. Helena Retzlaff, of California.

    The funeral services for August H. Williams, 69, which were held Tuesday afternoon, was one of the largest funerals ever held in this village. The church was filled to its capacity, About 700 attended. Services were held from. the home on the Buffalo-Falls boulevard at 2 o'clock and at 2.30 from the Holy Ghost Lutheran church. Bearers were Paul Mueller, William Mueller, Edward Mueller, Edward Kandt, Arthur Dubois and William Williams. Flower bearers were Edward Walck, Ervin (sic) Walck, Alfred Walck and Edwin Dubois. Burial was in Holy Ghost cemetery on Binckley street.

    Bergholtz, NY, March 19 - Funeral services for Mrs. Auguste C. Williams, who died Mar 10, were held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock from her home and at 2;30 o'clock from St James Lutheran church this village. Bearers were J. Mueller, P. Mueller, E. Mueller, A. Walck, E. Walck, all nephews, and Edward Krull. Honorary bearers were June Williams, Betty Toellner, Alice Milleville, Sylvia Eggert, kenneth and Carl Krull. Miss Ada and Helen Goerss sang at the services at home. They were accompanied by Mrs. Adelia Eggert. The school children of the St James Lutheran school rendered a sacred selection at the church services. They were accompanied by Theodore Grabau, teacher, at the organ. Mrs. Williams is survived by one son, Arthur J. Williams, Town of Niagara, one daughter, Mrs. Henry Siegman, of St Johnsburg, NY, five grandchildren, three great grandchildren, five sisters, Mrs. Albertine Collins and Mrs. Hulda Haseley of Niagara Falls, NY, Mrs. Rose Goerss of the Town of Niagara, Mrs. Anna Walck of Sanborn, and Mrs. David C. Heuer of this village, and one brother, Phillip Mueller of Niagara Falls, NY. The deceased was 77 years old and was the wife of the late August A. Williams, prominent farmer of the Old Falls Blvd. Mrs. Williams was a member of the St James church and was one of the most most widely known residents of this section. The Rev. O. Bruss officiated the services. Interment was in St James Cemetery, Niagara Rd.

    NORTH TONAWANDA, April 10. -Christian Frederick Ferchen, 68 years old, died Sunday night at his home in Bergholz, where he had been a lifelong resident. For 15 years he was teacher of the St. Jacob's parochial school in Bergholz. He is survived by a wife, Augusta; two sons, Hugo, Sanborn, and Errick (sic), Bergholz; two daughters, Miss Adelia Ferchen, and Mrs. Arthur Williams, Bergholz; eight grandchildren, two sisters, Mrs. Hattie I. Heidenfeldt, North Tonawanda, and Mrs. August Burow, Bergholz. The funeral will be held Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the residence and half an hour later at the Holy Ghost church, Bergholz. Rev. John Kuchenbecker officiating. Interment will be in the Holy Ghost cemetery.

    BERGHOLTZ, April 14.-The passing of Christian Frederick Ferchen, who peacefully passed away at his home in this village, at the age of 68 years, removes one of the most popular residents of this vicinity, whose life was in every respect an exemplification of Christianity and civility. Mr. Ferchen was born in this village on the 12th of August, 1859. His parents were among the first settlers of this vicinity. He at one time was a parochial school teacher for 15 years for the St. Jacob's congregation. Being of a kind, loving character, he not only endeared himself to his own family, but also to everyone with whom he came in contact. He was a talented musician, when nine years old, he started to play in a band. He also played a violin and bass viol. Mr. Ferchen had been in good health until about two weeks ago, when he was taken ill with erysipelas. The funeral services were held from the home at 2 o'clock and at 2:30 o'clock at the Holy Ghost church, Thursday. The services being conducted by the Rev. J. Kuchenbecker. He leaves a wide circle of friends, besides his wife, Auguste, two sons, Hugo of Sanborn and Erich at home, two daughters, Mrs. Arthur Williams and Miss Adelia Ferchen, at home; one brother, William Ferchen, two sisters. Mrs. Hattie Heidenfeldt and Mrs. August Burow. He also leaves eight grandchildren.
    Flower bearers were: Edgar Milleville, Theodor (sic) Heuer, Herbert Strassburg, Alfred Heidenfeldt, Martin Milleville, Clarence Wittkopp, Lester Wurl and Wilmer Wurl. Pallbearers were: John Moll, August Mueller, Fred Wurl, August Williams, Philip Mueller and August Sy. Burial was in the Holy Ghost Cemetery.

    BERGHOLZ, June 15. - Funeral services for Mrs. Auguste Milleville Ferchen were held this afternoon from the home at 2 o'clock and at 2:30 o'clock at Holy Ghost Lutheran church with the Rev. Victor. Dahlke officiating. The senior group of the Holy Ghost school sang, "Jesus While Living and Jesus While Dying." The bearers were Christ Burow, Arthur Milleville, Cornelius Ferchen, Theodore Schmidt, David Ferchen and Edwin DeVantier. Interment was in Holy Ghost cemetery. Mrs. Ferchen was born at the Milleville homestead on the Old Falls boulevard and was a life long resident of the Town of Wheatfield for 82 years. She lived 64 years in the same house and attended school in the same house where she resided when ten years old. In 1886 she was married to Christian Ferchen, a parochial school teacher of the St. James congregation. She was the daughter of the late John and Albertine Krull Milleville. She Is survived by two sons, Hugo Ferchen, Niagara Falls, and Erich Ferchen, Bergholz; two daughters, Mrs. Arthur J. Williams. Cayuga drive, Niagara Falls, and Mrs. Edward Eggert, at home; one sister, Mrs. Bertha DeVantier, St, Johnsburg; 11 grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren. She was a sister of the late John William Albert Milleville and Mrs. William H. Schmidt. Mrs. Ferchen was an active member of the Holy Ghost church and of the Lutheran Women's Missionary league. She was interested in the Lutheran Hour, sponsored by the Luther Laymen's league and founded by the late Dr. Walter Maler.
