    NORTH TONAWANDA - Carl W. Camann, 77, of Pierce Avenue, died Friday (Aug. 19, 1994) in Buffalo General Hospital following surgery. He was born Oct. 8, 1916, in Bergholz, the son of George and Wilhelmine (Urtel) Camann. A 44year employee at the Carborundum Co., Mr. Camann retired in 1979 as a manager in the inventory and production control department. He was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church on Old Falls Boulevard, the St. Paul Friendship Club, the Lutheran Laymen's, League, the Carborundum Alumni Club, the Retired Men's Group of the Tonawandas and an exempt member of the Bergholz Fire Co. He is survived by his wife, Velma (Zuch) Camann of North Tonawanda; two sons, Carl Camann of Atlanta and Paul Camann of Mystic, Conn.; a sister, Doris Flett of Niagara Falls; a brother, George Camann of North Tonawanda; three grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Natalie Camann, Thelma Camann, Anita Edwards and Vernon Camann. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today and Sunday at the Fretthold Funeral Home, 1241 Oliver St., North Tonawanda, where the Rev. Richard Pape will conduct services at 11, a.m. Monday. Burial will be in St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery, North Tonawanda. Memorials may be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church, 453 Old Falls Blvd., North Tonawanda, N.Y. 14120.

    The bridal party entered the
    church to the strains of Lohengrin's
    Wedding March," played

    Robert Krull sang "The Lord is
    My Shepard."
    Given in marriage by her father,
    the bride was beautiful in °
    gown of white faille fashioned
    with a fitted bodice, sweetheart
    neckline edged with venise lace,
    tiny buttons down the back, and
    leg of mutton sleeves. The full
    skirt was made with a double row
    of venise lace forming a peplum
    effect over the hip line, from
    which the skirt fell into a long
    graceful train. Her Illusion veil,
    finger tip length, fen from aheadpiece
    of white ostrich tips. She
    carried a shower bouquet of bridal

    roses, larkspur, gladioli and
    gypsophila, through which were
    scattered blue delphiniums. The
    bride wore pearls, the gift of the
    groom. ,
    Miss Natalie Camann, sitter of
    the groom, was maid of honor. She
    was gowned in a patterned faille
    of heather shade, made with a
    gathered bodice, three-quarter
    length sleeves, sweetheart neckline
    and a long full skirt. She
    wore a pink gladioli blossom in
    her hair, and carried an arm bouquet
    of bine delphinium and
    pink gladioli tied with heather
    Miss Anita Camann and Miss
    Doris Camann, two other sisters of
    the groom, were bridesmaids.
    They were gowned slike in patterned
    faille of Sky blue made
    similar to the maid of honors. Each
    wore a pink gladioli in her heir,
    sad carried an arm bouquet of
    blue delphinium and pink gladioli
    tied with blue ribbon.
    The groom was attended by his
    brother ' Mr. George Camann as
    best man, and the ushers were
    Mr. Irvin Zuch, cousin of the
    bride and Mr. William Behm of
    Niagara Falls, cousin of the .groom.
    The bride's mother Mrs. Zuch,
    chose a navy dress with navy accessories
    and a corsage of yellow
    roses.
    Mrs. Camann, the mother of the
    groom, wore a dark green dress
    with black accessories and a corsage
    of yellow roses.
    Mrs. Clara Frits, the grand-
    mother of the bride was gowned
    in black with white accessories and
    a corsage of roses.
    After the ceremony a wedding
    dinner was served In St Paul's
    church hall for seventy-five
    guests. Covers were laid for eight
    at the bride's table which was centered
    with a three tiered wedding
    cake adorned with a miniature
    bride and groom, and flanked by

    George W. Camann, 50 years old, of Bergholz, died early this morning at the Memorial hospital, Niagara Falls. He was taken ill a few days ago and was operated on at the hospital yesterday for intestinal trouble.
    Camann had lived in Bergholz practically all his life. He is survived by a wife, two sons, Carl and George, Jr.; four daughters, the Misses Doris, Natalia, Anita and Thelma; a mother, Mrs. Emily Camann, all of Bergholz; seven brothers, Charles C. Camann, Tonawanda; William and John Camann, LaSalle; Frank, Albert, Edwin and Harry Camann of Bergholz, and a sister, Mrs. Julius Stoelting, Bergholz.
    The funeral will be held Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the residence and half an hour later at the Holy Ghost church, Rev. John Kuchenbecker officiating. Interment will be in the Holy Ghost cemetery.

    CAMANN - Minnie F, (nee Urtel) age 82, of 2474 Niagara Road Town of Wheatfield, died Thursday, Jan. 2, 1969 at Mount St. Mary's Hospital, Lewiston, after a lengthy illness. Mrs. Camann was a member of the Holy Ghost Lutheran Church, The Ladies Aid Society and The Women's Missionary League. She is survived by 2 sons, Carl W. and George H., both of North Tonawanda; 2 daughters, Mrs. Harold (Doris) Flett of Niagara Falls and Natalie V. Camann of Town of Wheatfield. Also surviving are 8 grandchildren. Friends may call at the Fretthold Funeral Home Inc., 1241 Oliver St. at Ward Road, North Tonawanda, until Sunday 1 p.m. The body will lie in state in Holy Ghost Lutheran Church, Bergholtz from 1:30 until 2:30 p.m. Sunday, time of service. The family will be in attendance from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. The Rev. Albert W. Bahr will officiate. Interment in Holy Ghost Lutheran Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Holy Ghost Lutheran Church Building Fund.

    Bergholtz Woman Dies at 85 Years

    BERGHOLTZ, Jan. 13 - Mrs. Emilie Camann, 85, died last night at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Julius Stoelting. of this village. She was born in the town of Wheafield and had resided there all her life. Besides the daughter, she is survived by seven sons, Charles, of Tonawanda. William and John, of Niagara Falls, Frank. Albert. Edwin and Harry, all of this village; one sister, Mrs. Henry Witkop, of Pekin. 32 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. The funeral will be held Sunday at 2 pm. from the Stoelting home and at 2:30 from the Holy Ghost Lutheran church. The Rev. John Kuchenbecker will officiate and interment will be in Holy Ghost cemetery.

    AGED WOMAN WHO BROKE HER HIP IN FALL, DIES
    Mrs. Wilhelmina Urtel, 82 years old, died today at the home of her son, Walter C, Niagara road, Bergholtz. She had been in poor health for the past year but her death was hastened by injuries which she sustained in a fall at the late home a week ago. A fractured hip was among her injuries. Mrs. Urtel was born in Germany. She had resided in the town of Wheatfield for the past 63 years. She is survived by five daughters, Mrs. Bertha Behm and Mrs. Esther Canosa, Niagara Falls, Mrs. Augusta Werth, St. Johnsburg, and Mrs. Katherine Fuerch and Mrs. Minnie Camann, Bergholz; two sons, Henry, Niagara Falls, and Walter, Bergholz; 24 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. The funeral will be held Saturday afternoon at 2.30 o'clock, daylight saving time, at the residence and half an hour later at the Holy Ghost church in Bergholz. Rev.
