    Notes:

    Genevieve Sciuk Himmelback Pfohl, age 94 of Sanborn, NY, was called to her heavenly home on Monday, September 19, 2005 at Mount St. Mary's Hospital after a brief illness.
    Mrs. Pfohl was born on September 4, 1911, the daughter of the late Lawrence and Julia [ Olszowy ] Sciuk of Niagara Falls, Niagara County, NY, where she attended local schools. She graduated from beauty school and had her own business as a hairdresser. She was a past member of the Newfane Golden Agers Club which traveled many places including Hawaii. She was a former member of the St. Peter's Lutheran Church, North Ridge and was a current member of the St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Walmore.
    She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, reading, playing cards, and spending time with her family.
    Genevieve married Rudolph Himmelback on January 21, 1930. She was predeceased by her husband Rudolph in 1964. She married Adolph Pfohl, on September 24, 1976, he predeceased her in 1989.
    Genevieve is survived by her son, Lawrence [ Charlotte ] Himmelback, of Ransomville, NY; a daughter, Jean [ Wayne ] Walck, of Sanborn, NY; granddaughters, Barbe [ Michael ] Bubar, of Wilson, NY; Laurie [ Ronald ] Cleary, of Eustis, FL; Claudette Walck, of Sanborn, NY; brothers, Frank [ Ellie ] Sciuk, of Niagara Falls, Niagara County, NY; William [ Jean ] Sciuk, of Boca Raton, FL; sister-in-law Nina Sciuk, of Niagara Falls, Niagara County, NY; many great grandchildren; great great grandchildren; nieces and nephews. She is also survived by a stepson Calvin [ Patricia ] Pfohl, two stepdaughters, Marjorie [ Norman ] Miller and Audrey Johnson, all of Sanborn, NY.
    She was predeceased by her sister Emily Sciuk and brother Joseph Sciuk.
    The family will receive friends from 7 - 9 PM Wednesday and 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 PM Thursday at the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, SANBORN, 5893 Hoover Road.
    Funeral services will be held Friday at 11 AM, at St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 6168 Walmore Road, Sanborn, NY, with the Rev. Bruce M. Gamache, officiating.
    Burial will be in the St. Peter's Lutheran Cemetery, North Ridge, Town of Cambria, NY.
    Should friends desire memorials in Genevieve's memory may be made to the St. P Peters's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 6168 Walmore Road, Sanborn, NY, 14132.

    Genevieve married PFOHL, Adolph Daniel on 24 Sep 1976 in North Ridge, Town of Cambria, Niagara County, NY. Adolph (son of PFUHL, Friedrich Johannes and WALCK, Amalia Bertha Auguste) was born on 2 Jun 1913 in Town of Wheatfield, Niagara County, NY; died on 31 Jul 1989 in Town of Wheatfield, Niagara County, NY.     Genevieve married HIMMELBACK, Rudolph on 21 Jan 1930 in Niagara County, NY. Rudolph was born on 17 Jan 1911 in New York; died in Oct 1964. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]

    Lawrence P. Sciuk, 65, of 2406 Niagara
    street, prominent east side
    real estate and insurance broker,
    died last night. A native of Poland,
    he came to this country In 1911
    and since 1926 has operated his
    realty and Insurance business here.
    A member of the Pulaski club,
    Mr. Sciuk Is survived by his wife,
    Julln. by a daughter. Mrs. Rudolph
    Himmelback. and by three sons,
    Joseph, Frank and William, all of
    this city. A brother, Francis, of
    Philadelphia, Pa., a sister. Agnes.
    of Poland, and five grandchildren
    also survive.
    Funeral services will be held from
    the late residence tomorow morning
    at 9:30 o'clock and at 10 o'clock in
    St. Stanislaus Kostkl church. Interment
    will be in Holy Trinity cemetery.
