    TONAWANDA..June 8-Stricken
    with a heart attack last evening,
    Reuben B. Jedele, 51. of 457 Fletcher
    street, was pronounced dead
    a half hour later despite efforts
    of the Fire department first aid
    squad to rivive him. .
    A life long resident here, he had
    been employed as a clerk at the
    local postoffice for nearly ten years.
    He was treasurer of the EUdredge
    Bicycle club, an office he had held
    for over 20 years. Mr. Jedele was
    a veteran of World War 1 and a
    member of Tonawandas Post 264,
    American Legion. He was a member
    of Tonawanda Lodge 247, F
    and AM, Tonawanda Chapter 278,
    RAM. and Tonawanda Commandery
    78, Knights Templar.
    He is survived by his wife, Vera
    Wagner Jedele; a son, James; two
    daughters, Alice and Nancy; his
    mother, Mrs. Mary Jedele, and two
    brothers, Harold and Alvin, all of
    the Tonawandas.
    Last rites will be held Thursday
    at 2 p. m. at the home. The Rev.
    L. W. Drlftmyer will officiate. Interment
    will be In Acacia Park
    cemetery.

    Reuben married WAGNER, Vera on 20 Jun 1925 in Sanborn, Niagara County, NY. Vera (daughter of WAGNER, Henry F and BOLLIER, Anna M) was born on 9 Feb 1898 in Town of Wheatfield, Niagara County, NY; died on 29 Nov 1992 in Tonawanda, Erie County, NY. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]

    Sanborn, June 23.-A very quiet
    but pretty wedding was solemnized
    Saturday afternoon, June 20th. at 3
    o'clock, at tbe home of Mrs. Anna M.
    Wagner of Sanborn when her daughter
    Vera, became the bride of Reuben
    R. Jedele of Tonawanda.
    The ceremony was performed by
    Kev. James S. Wilson in the presence
    of the two immediate families.
    The bride was: beautifully gowned
    in white satin crepe trimmed with
    lace and wore orange blossoms in her
    hair, and carried a bouquet ot brides
    roses.
    Her bridesmaids were Miss Ruth
    Bollier of Tonawanda, a cousin of the
    bride, and Miss Lyle Lyoid of Buffalo.
    Miss Ruth Bollier wore a gown of
    peach color crepe, carried a bouquet
    of pink roses; Miss Lyle Lyoid wore
    a gown of powdered blue crepe, and
    also carried a bouquet of pink roses.
    The groom was accompanied by
    Mr. Raymond Wagner, brother of the
    bride, and Mr.. Erwin Bartel of
    Tonawnnda.
    The bridal party entered the par-
    lor to the strains of Lohengrin played
    by Mr, Alvin Jedele.
    After the ceremony the .bridal party
    and guests entered the dining room
    where a bountiful lunch was served,
    covers being laid for 35.
    The out of town guests were Mr.
    and Mrs. Christ Jedele, parents of the
    groom; Mr and Mrs. Harold Jedele
    and daughter; Mr. and Mrs. Alvin
    Jedele and Mrs. Margaret Bollier, and
    daughters, of Tonawnnda.
    Mr. .and Mrs. Reuben Jedele
    left for a motor trip through
    New York and New Jersey.

    TONAWANDA, June 29-Mrs.
    Mary Jadele, 83, of 456 Fletcher
    street died yesterday at DeGraff
    Memorial hospital.
    A life-long resident, she was a
    member of the First Evangelical
    United Brethren church and a member
    of the Ladies,Aid society there.
    Surviving are two sons, Harold W.
    and Alvin F. Jedele; seven grandchildren,
    and five great grandchildren
    and a sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Mawitz,
    Tonawanda.
    Services will be'held at 2 p. m.
    at the residence. Burial will be in
    Elmlawh cemetery
