    TOWN OF NIAGARA —
    Allen P. Walck, Sr., 80, of the Town of Niagara, NY, passed away on Tuesday, March 26, 2013 in Schoellkopf Health Care Facility in Niagara Falls, NY, following a lengthy illness. Born on November 4, 1932 in Niagara Falls, NY, he was the son of the late Paul A. and Evelyn H. (Blank) Walck.
    Mr. Walck attended local schools and was a proud member of the graduating class of 1950 of Niagara Falls High School. Allen also attended Capital University in Columbus, OH. He served in the United States Army, as a Specialist Third Class, from May 14, 1956 until his honorable discharge on April 19, 1958. On August 5, 1961, Mr. Walck married the former Diane D. Dargis in St. John de LaSalle Roman Catholic Church. She predeceased him on January 6, 2013. For thirty dedicated years, Allen worked as a Jr. Civil Engineer for the Niagara County Department of Public Works, until his retirement in 1992. He was a lifelong member of St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Sanborn, NY and was a former member of the Sanborn Volunteer Fire Company, where he currently was serving as treasurer for their Exempts Organization. Mr. Walck enjoyed jigsaw puzzles, word searches, fishing, coin collecting, walking around Goat Island and going to cardiac rehabilitation at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center. Above all, Allen loved spending time with his family.
    Mr. Walck is survived by two sons, Allen P. (Audrey) Walck, Jr. of Avon, NY and Christopher Walck of the Town of Niagara, NY, who was an excellent caregiver to both of his parents. Allen is also survived by two grandchildren, Zachary and Benjamin Walck; three brothers-in-law, Stanley (Cleo) Dargis of Mt. View, AR, Kenneth (Patricia) Dargis of Wilmington, DE and William (Nancy) Dargis of Grove City, PA; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his parents and wife, he was predeceased by two sisters, Shirley Lange and Patricia Schearer.
    The family will be present to receive friends on Monday from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM in the Chapel of OTTO REDANZ FUNERAL HOME, 2215 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY (716-297-9007). A prayer service will be held by the Sanborn Volunteer Fire Company on Monday at 7:00 PM in the Funeral Chapel. Family and friends are invited to attend a funeral service on Tuesday, April 2nd at 11:00 AM which will be celebrated in St. Peter’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 6167 Walmore Road, Sanborn, NY. EVERYONE PLEASE ASSEMBLE AT THE CHURCH. Mr. Walck will be laid to rest next to his wife, Diane, in Holy Trinity Cemetery, Lewiston, NY. Military Honors will conclude the committal prayers at the cemetery.     NIAGARA FALLS — Diane D. (Dargis) Walck, 77, of the Town of Niagara, NY, passed away on Sunday, January 6, 2013 in Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center in Niagara Falls, NY, following a brief illness. Born on December 10, 1935 in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late Stanley and Mary (Ciurylo) Dargis.

    Mrs. Walck was a lifelong resident of the Niagara Falls area. Diane attended local Catholic schools and graduated from LaSalle High School in 1953. On August 5, 1961, she married Allen P. Walck, Sr. in St. John de LaSalle Roman Catholic Church. Mrs. Walck worked for Carborundum, Niagara County Community College and Hooker Chemical. Later, Diane was employed as a secretary for St. Peter's Lutheran Church, until her retirement in 1997. She was a communicant of the former St. Charles Roman Catholic Church in Niagara Falls, NY. Mrs. Walck enjoyed gardening. Above all, Diane loved spending time with her family, who were the center of her life.

    In addition to her beloved husband of 51 years, Mrs. Walck is survived by two sons, Allen P. (Audrey) Walck, Jr. of Avon, NY and Christopher Walck of the Town of Niagara, NY; and two grandsons, Zachary and Benjamin Walck. Diane is also survived by two brothers, Stanley W. (Cleo) Dargis of Mountain View, AK and Kenneth R. (Patricia) Dargis of Wilmington, DE; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by an infant brother.

    The family will be present to receive friends on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM in the Chapel of OTTO REDANZ FUNERAL HOME, 2215 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY (297-9007). Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, January 10th, at 10:00 AM which will be celebrated in the historic Holy Trinity Church, 1419 Falls Street, Niagara Falls, NY, with Rev. Jacek Mazur serving as Celebrant. EVERYONE PLEASE ASSEMBLE AT THE CHURCH. Interment will follow in Holy Trinity Cemetery, Lewiston, NY.

    the bride wore a gown of silk organza and
    lace fashioned with a sweetheart neckline
    and Alencon lace, fitted bodice and
    long pointed sleeves.
    Her full skirt with a bustle back terminating
    in a chapel train was trimmed with
    sequins, and pearls on lace. A queen's
    crown of pearls and sequins held her four
    tiered scalloped veil and she carried a
    bouquet of white roses and stephanotis
    centered with a white orchid.

    MAID OF HONOR, Miss Nancy Kaezynskl,
    wore a street-length mint green dress
    of nylon sheer featuring a fitted bodice
    with rounded neckline, cap sleeves and a
    full ruffled, tiered skirt. Her headpiece
    was a nylon sheer bow with scalloped veil
    and she carried a colonial bouquet of pink
    carnations surrounded by white carnations.
    The Misses Barbara Ciurylo and Alice
    Myers, bridemaids, were similarly attired.
    Junior bridesmaid, Kathleen Lange. a
    niece of the bridegroom, wore a matching
    gown in floor-length and a headpiece
    of tiny bows held her veil.
    Richard Latko was best man and Midshipman
    Kenneth Dargis. brother of the
    bride, and John Haseley were ushers.

    A DINNER immediately after the ceremony
    and an evening reception were held
    at Holy Trinity Parish Hall.
    The bride's mother was attired in a
    light pink chiffon dress with- matching
    accessories and a white orchid corsage.
    Mrs. Walck wore a blue chiffon dress with
    white accessories and a white orchid corsage.
    Mr. and Mrs. Walck will reside at 426
    69th St., after a wedding trip through
    New England.

    TOWN OF WHEATFIELD-Paul A. Walck, 70, of 3222 Lockport Road, died Saturday (Jan. 24, 1976) in Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center after a long illness. He was a lifelong resident of the Town of Wheatfield and had been employed at the Frontier Bronze, General Abrasive and for over 20 years at Bell Aerospace as millwright, retiring in 1967. He had been a custodian for the Niagara County Highway Department for the past two years. Mr. Walck was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, the Wheatfield Senior Citizens and a former member of the Sanborn Fire Co. He is survived by his wife, Evelyn (Blank) Walck; a son, Allen P. Walck of Niagara Falls; two daughters, Mrs. William (Shirley) Lange of Sanborn and Mrs. George (Patricia) Schearer of the Town of Amherst; a brother, Philip C. Walck of Sanborn, eight grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Walmore. The Rev. Harold L. Baum will officiate. The Rhoney Funeral Home, Sanborn, is making arrangements. Burial will be in St. Peter's Lutheran Cemetery.     She moved to Wheatfield in 1927.

    She enjoyed gardening and flowers.

    Mrs. Walck is survived by a son, Allen P. Walck of Niagara Falls; two sisters, Arline (sic) Walck of Sanborn and Josephine Stange of North Tonawanda; eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Shirley Lange and Patricia Schearer.
    Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. today and from 2 to 4 and 7, to 9 p.m. Friday, at the Rhoney Funeral Home, 5893 Hoover Road, Sanborn, where a prayer service will be held at 9 p.m. Friday.

    Evelyn H. Walck, 84, of Lockport Road died Wednesday (March 18, 1992) in Kenmore Mercy Hospital, Town of Tonawanda, after an illness of three weeks.
    A Town of Niagara native, the former Evelyn Blank lived in the Wheatfield area since 1927.
    She was the widow of Paul A. Walck, who died in 1976.
    She was a member of St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church, the church's Ladies Aid Society and the Morning Joy Club.
    Survivors include a son, Allen P. of Niagara Falls; two sisters, Josephine Stange of North Tonawanda and Arline; eight grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren.
    Services will be held at 11 A.M. Saturday in St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church, 6168 Walmore Road. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

    Philip Walck of Walmore Is Dead
    Philip Walck, 67 years old, died today at the family home in the Lockport road. Funeral services will be held from the home on Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock and at 2:30 standard time from St. Peter's Lutheran church, Walmore. The Rev. Edwin (sic) Grabau will officiate. Interment will be in the Walmore cemetery.
    Mr. Walck had resided in Walmore all his life and was one of the best known residents of the vicinity. For 19 years he was a trustee of St. Peter's church and for 28 years was treasurer of the Cooperative Fire Insurance company of Bergholtz. He was active in Walmore affairs and his loss will be mourned by a wide circle of friends and relatives. He is survived by six children, Mrs. Herbert Zeckser, Mrs. E. W. Haseley, Mrs. E. WW. (sic) Haseley. Felix, Philip C. and Paul. all of Sanborn.

    Former Highway Official Dies
    Rudolph Blank, 66, formerly superintendent of highways for the Town of Niagara for 20 years, died early today at the family home, Tuscarora road, after a long period of ill health. The funeral plans have not been completed. Mr. Blank was born in Germany, a son of the late William and Fredericka , Blank, and came to this country with his parents when he was only four years old. They settled near Alabama in Orleans county but shortly afterward removed to the Tuscarora road area in Niagara county, where he had resided since, Mr. Blank was well known throughout this section, having conducted a farming implement sales business for many years in addition to being a successful farmer. He was an active member of St. Peter's Lutheran church at Walmore, N. Y., and its various organizations. Mr. Blank is survived by his wife, Mrs. Louise Blank, at home; four daughters, Mrs. Arline Walck, of Sanborn, N. Y., Mrs. Evelyn Walck, of Niagara Falls, Mrs. Josephine Haseley, of Sanborn, N. Y., and Eleanor Tubbe, at home; one son, Richard Tubbe, at home; three brothers, John, of Sanborn, William, of Gasport, N. Y., and Gustave Blank, of Niagara Falls, and four grandchildren.

    Rudolph married WITTKOPP, Ida Elizabeth on 30 Apr 1903 in Town of Wheatfield, Niagara County, NY.
