PORT ORANGE -- Donald H. Barr, 78, of South Nova Road, a former owner of Midas Muffler shops in the Niagara Falls, N.Y., area, died Saturday at home.
Mr. Barr, an Army veteran of World War II, was born in Windber, Pa., and came here in 1972 from Niagara Falls. He was a member of White Chapel Church of God, South Daytona, and Niagara Falls Masonic Lodge. He enjoyed golf, bowling and fishing.
Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Donna; a son, Donald II, Port Orange; a daughter, Cynthia Lauer, Butler, Pa.; three brothers, Jack, Kenneth and Jerry, all of Niagara Falls; a grandchild; and two great-grandchild. Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Volusia/Flagler, 3800 Woodbriar Trail, Port Orange, FL 32129. Phoenix Cremation, South Daytona, is in charge.
