    TONAWANDA, Oct. 13. — The
    marriage of Miss Annette. Wendt,
    daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin
    Wendt, Sanborn, and Mr. Reuben
    Stahl, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Reuben
    Stahl, Sr., Tonawanda, was solemnized
    at Trinity Lutheran church.
    The Rev. Paul J. Hartenberger officiated
    at the double ring ceremony.
    For her wedding the bride chose
    a gown of lustrous off-white satin ac-
    centing a shadow yoke and upstanding
    lace ruffling, a basque bodice and
    pointed sleeves in fine chantilly lace.
    The bouffant satin skirt was cascades
    of flouncing satin and a lace top bordering
    that swirled into a Cathedral
    length train.
    Her veil, a two tier fingertip illu-
    •ion, was circular with a rolled edge,
    caught to the coiffure by a regal tiara
    of. seed beads. She carried a bouquet
    of white roses with an orchid in the
    center, with streamers of lovers
    knots.
    Miss Ruth M. Klettke was maid of
    honor. She wore a gown of bon bon
    pink satin with fitted bodice and a
    full skirt. She carried a colonial bouquet
    of white chrysanthemums and
    red roses.
    • The bridesmaids were Miss Cherie
    Stubbs, wearing.a gown of blue; Miss
    Audrey Pokelwaldt, wearing orchid,
    and Mrs. Doris Hylmun, green. Their
    gowns were of satin and taffeta, with
    matching satin hats. Kathy Wendt,
    cousin of .the bride, was flower girl.
    She wore a gown of orchid satin with
    a matching satin hat.
    The best man was Mr. Albert
    Stahl, brother of the bridegroom. The
    ushers were Mr. Earl Stahl, brother
    of the bridegroom; Mr. Robert Wendt
    and Mr. Ronald Wendt, brothers of
    the bride. Mr. Howard Grant was
    the soloist and Mrs. Dorothy G if ford
    the organist.
    For her daughter's wedding Mrs.
    Wendt wore a plum crepe dress with
    black accessories. She wore an orchid
    corsage. The mother of the
    bridegroom wore a navy crepe dress
    with matching accessories .and an or
    chid corsage.
    Following the ceremony, a wedding
    dinner was served at the* Bergholtz
    fire hall. The reception followed
    at 8 p\m.
    For traveling the bride chose a
    navy blue suit with matching velvet
    accessories and an orchid corsage.
    After a motor trip through the
    New England states, Mr. and Mrs.
    Stahl will reside in Saunders Settlement
    road, Sanborn.

    Falls, linen shower.

    Reuben W. Stahl, 86, of
    Tonawanda, founder of Stahl
    Moving and Storage Co., died
    yesterday in DeGraff Memorial
    Hospital.
    The Tonawanda Fire
    Department first aid squad was
    called at 3:50 a.m. yesterday to
    his home where he was stricken.
    He was given first aid and taken
    to the hospital, where he was
    pronounced dead on arrival.
    A native of Getzville, Mr.
    Stahl lived in Tonawanda for the
    past 63 years.
    He founded the trucking firm
    on Young Street, Tonawanda, in
    1922, and was active in the
    business until 1946, when he
    turned it over to his sons. '
    The business, now located in
    North Tonawanda, is an agent
    for Wheaton Van Lines Inc. and
    operates in every state including
    Hawaii and Alaska.
    Mr. Stahl is survived by his
    wife, Anna H. Luchterhand
    S t a h l ; three sons, two
    daughters, two sisters, two
    brothers, eight grandchildren
    and nine great-grandchildren.
    John O. Roth Funeral Home,
    Morgan and William streets,
    Tonawarfda, is in charge of
    arrangements.

    life long resident of Tonawanda, she
    was the wife of Reuben W. Stahl who
    died in 1979 and was a member of
    Salem United Church of Christ.
    She is survived by two daughters,
    Mrs. LeRoy (Myra) Plant of No.
    Tona.; and Mrs. George (Doris)
    Heylmun of Katona, NY.; three
    sons Earl C. (Helen) Stahl of Tonawanda;
    Albert F. (Lorraine) Stahl
    of Sun City West, Arizona; and
    Reuben (Annette) Stahl of Sanborn,
    N.Y.; two sisters, Mrs. Edward
    (Emma) Jacobi of Williamsville
    and Mrs Charlotte Zipp of Tonawanda,
    one Brother Albert
    Luchterhand of Tona. 8 Grandchildren
    and 9 Great Grandchildren.
    Friends may call Monday only
    from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at John O. Roth
    Funeral Home, Inc. Morgan and
    William Sts. Tonawanda where
    services will be conducted at 1 p.m.
    Tuesday by the Rev. Richard H.
    Trump. Burial will be at Resthaven
    Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial
    contributions may be made to
    Salem United Church of Christ

    STAHL - Frank E. Stahl Sr., 87,
    of Lapp Rd., Clarence Center, died
    last night, July 6, 1953, after a
    five-week illness. Born in Germany,
    he was a former resident
    of the Tonawandas and the Town
    of Amherst. He was formerly employed
    for 26 years by Columbus
    McKinnon Chain Corp. where he
    was a member of the union. He
    was a former member of the Re-
    publican committee in the-Town of
    Amherst. Mr. Stahl was the hus-
    band of the late Margaret Klein
    and Winifred Miller. He is survived
    by two daughters, Mrs. Edwin J.
    Wolf of Buffalo and Mrs. Fred
    Luchterhand of Clarence Center;
    four sons, Reuben W. and Otto P.
    of Tonawanda, Elmer A. of Clar-
    ence Center and Allen F. of Getz-
    ville; two brothers, Fred Stahl of
    Getzville and Edward Stahl of Lancaster;

    17 grandchildren and 16
    great-grandchildren. He was father
    of the late Frank E. Stahl Jr.
    Friends may call at the Hilliard
    Funeral Home, 147 Delaware St.,
    where services will be at 2 p.m.
    Thursday, the Rev. Leo J. Griffin
    officiating. Burial will be in
    Williamsville.
