    years and was a member
    of the Carborundum
    Company's Retirement
    Club. Mr. Wrege was a
    veteran of World War I.
    He is survived by his
    wife, Elizabeth (nee
    Hoffmeister) Wrege; a
    daughter, Mrs. George
    ( J e a n ) P h i l l i p s of
    Niagara Falls, and a son,
    William (Elly) Wrege
    J r . , of North Tonawanda;
    a brother, Walter Wrege;
    three sisters, Mrs. Elsie
    Z i m m e r m a n , M r s.
    Minnie Sattleberg and
    Mrs. Hubert (Edna)
    Holland, all of North
    T o n a w a n d a ; eight
    g r a n d c h i l d r e n ; five
    great-grandchildren and
    m a n y n i e c e s and
    nephews.
    Services were held this
    morning at 11 a.m., in St.
    Mark Lutheran Church,
    the Rev. Thomas K.
    Spahn officiated. Interment
    was held in
    White Chapel Memorial
    Park. Arrangements by
    the Fretthold Funeral
    Home, Inc., North Tonawanda.

    of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Hoffmeister
    of Whitmer road, and William Wax
    Wrege, son of Mr. and Mrs. William
    Wrege, of the same .road, were marri
    ed yesterday afternoon at St. Jacob's
    church. Bergholtz, Rev. Otto Brust
    officiating. Miss Ella Hofmeister
    s i s t e r of t h e bride, was maid ot honor
    and Walter Wrege, brother of the
    bridegroom, was best man. Miss Luna
    Hofmeister, sister of the bride, was
    bridesmaid and Edward B. Schroeder
    was usher.
    The bride wore a white satin dress
    with shadow lace and georgette trimmings
    and carried a bouquet of white
    roses. The maid of honor and tlie
    bridesmaid wore dresses of white and
    carried bouquets of white peonies.
    Many valuable presents were receiv-
    ed by the bridal couple.

    Wrege.
    Mr. Wrege retired 10 years
    ago. after working 45 years at
    the Carborundum Corp. The
    couple are members of St. Mark
    Evangelical Lutheran Church.
    They enjoy gardening as a
    hobby.
    The Wreges have two children,
    a daughter. Mrs. George
    (Jean) Phillips, and a son.
    William Jr.. eight grandchildren,
    and four great-grandchildren.

    the death in Washington, D. C., of
    William Wrege, Sr., 72-year-old
    former resident of the Town of
    Wheatfield. He is survived by his
    wife, Mary; three sons, Herman and
    William, Jr., of North Tonawanda,
    and Walter, of Dunkirk, and three
    daughters, Mrs. Otto Zimmerman
    and Mrs. George Sattelberg, of
    North Tonawanda, and Mrs. Hubert
    holland, of this city. Twenty
    grandchildren and eight great-
    grandchildren also survive. Funeral
    services were held in Washington
    on Wednesday.

    NORTH TONAWANDA, April 24 - Mrs. Mary C. Wrege. 68, died yesterday at her home, 225 Ward road. Born in Germany, she came to America when a young woman and had resided in this locality since. She is survived by three sons, Herman and William, Jr., of North Tonawanda, and Walter, of Dunkirk; three daughters, Mrs. Hubert Holland, of Niagara. Ealls, Mrs, Otto Zimmerman, of North Tonawanda, and Mrs. George Sattelberg, of the Town of Wheatfield; 20 grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, a sister, Mrs. Herman Wrege, of Ransomville, and a brother, August Piepenhagen, of Wilson. Funeral services will 'be held Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the residence and at 2:30 from the St. Mark's Evangelical Lutheran church In Washington street. The Rev. Paul Fretthold will conduct the rites. Burial will be in St. Mark's cemetery.

    Mrs. Lena Pipenhagen
    Mm. Lena Pipenhagen, seventy-eight years old, died last night at the home of her daughter, Mrs. William Wrege of the Witmer road, near St. Johnsburg. Mrs Pipenhagen had been an invalid for the last three years. Three daughters, Mrs. Wrege, Mrs. John Hacker of North Tonawanda and Mrs. Herman Wrege of Ransomville and one brother, Gustav Pipenhagen of North Ridge, sixteen grandchildren survive. The funeral will be held Saturday afternoon at ... and half an hour later at St. Mark’s church on Washington Street, North Tonawanda. Burial will be at St. Johnsburg and Rev. Paul Fretthold will officiate.
