FORMER SOLON DIES
Albert H. Ziemendorf, Widely Known Wheatfield Resident, Passes.
NORTH TONAWANDA, Oct 5.-Albert H. Ziemendorf, 58, died at his home in the Niagara Falls boulevard at St. Johnsburg. Mr. Ziemendorf was born in Bergholtz and had resided in this part of Niagara county all his life. He was one of the best known residents of the town of Wheatfield. For several terms he served as a member of the town board. He was also a member of the Board of Education of the school district in which he resided. He was a Republican, taking an active part in the affairs of his party. He served many years as an elder of St. John's church at St. Johnsburg. Mr. Ziemendorf is survived by a wife, Mollie; two sons, Calvin W. and Lester; two daughters, Leeta and Helen, at home; a brother, Reinhardt (sic), of Sanborn and two sisters, Miss Minnie Ziemendorf and Mrs. Adeline Gombert, of St. Johnsburg, Rites will be held Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the residence and at 2:30 o'clock at St. John's church, The Rev. Walter Thiemecke will officiate and interment. will be in the Holy Ghost cemetery at Bergholtz.

Hold Funeral of Bergholz Woman, Last Rites for Mrs. Ziemendorf Largely Attended
BERGHOLZ. July 31. - The passing of Mrs. Wilhelmine Ziemendorf, who died after a weeks illness, last Thursday afternoon at her home on the Buffalo-Falls boulevard near the Ward road at the age of 69 years, removes one of the most popular residents of this vicinity, whose life was in every respect an exemplification of Christianity and civility. Mrs. Ziemendorf was born in Germany on November 25th, 1859, but came to this country when seven years of age, and lived in Michigan with her parents for some time, but later came to this vicinity, and has resided here for many years. Being of a kind and loving character ,she not only endeared herself to her own family, but also to every one with whom she came in contact. Mrs. Ziemendorf had been in good health until. about a week before her death, when she was taken ill with a stroke. The funeral services were held from her late residence on Saturday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock and at 3:00 o'clock from the St. John's Lutheran church, the Rev. Walter Thiemecke officiating.
Interment was In the Holy Ghost cemetery on Niagara street, this village.
The deceased is survived by two sons; Albert of St. Johnsburg, Reinhard
of the Ward road, near this village, two daughters, Mrs. Adeline Gombert
and Miss Minnie Ziemendorf at home and two sisters, Mrs. Albertine
Elliot of Detroit, Mich., and Mrs. Fred Kamp of Romeo, Mich. The floral offerings
were many and beautiful.

Mrs. Anna Lange Rites Are Held
Was Born in Bergholtz and Well Known in that Vicinity
BERGHOLTZ. Jan. 16-The funeral services for Mrs. Anna Lange, (nee Anna Plaster), 84 years old, were held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the home at 602 Eighthy (sic) -eighth street, Niagara Falls, and at 2:30 o'clock from the Zion Lutheran church, Cayuga drive, La Salle section, Niagara Falls, the Rev. George Hoyer officiating. Mrs. Lange was born in this village at the Plaster homestead in Cayuga street. She was married to the late August Lange. They resided in Niagara street for many years and conducted a grocery store which was also known as the Niagara Hotel. Mr. and Mrs. Lange moved to the LaSalle section 15 years ago. The deceased's husband died about six years ago.
Mrs. Lange is survived by one son. Albert, eight daughters, Mrs. Albert Wendt of Lockport, Mrs. P. C. Schulz, Mrs. Pauline Brown and Mrs. John Camann of Niagara Falls, Mrs. Albert Ziemendorf of St. Johnsburg, Mrs. Minnie Arnhold, Mrs. Edgar Spangenberg, and Mrs. Christian Anderson of Buffalo, 14 grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Burial was in the Holy Ghost cemetery on Binckley street.
