Born in Niagara Falls, NY on September 9, 1949; son of the late Edmund and H. Jane (McCollum) Wendt. Paul was employed at General Motors, until his retirement, and than became the owner of DN Remodeling. He enjoyed Nascar, fishing, hunting, and the quality time spent with his family. Survivors include his wife, Robin (Reitz) Wendt. They were married November 5, 1983; four children, Cori Flores of Owatonna, MN, Raymond Wendt of Lockport, NY, Liza (Nick) Reinhardt of Lockport, NY, and Andrew (Elizabeth) Wendt of Cincinnati, OH; a brother, Daniel (Shelley) Wendt of Jamestown, NY; a sister, Marlene (Conrad) Janik of Lockport, NY; four grandchildren, Joseph Flores, Emily Wendt, Amanda Clarkson, and Alexander Wendt; and a great-grandson, Joseph Flores.Friends may call at the DuBois Funeral Home, 2436 Niagara Road, (Bergholz) in Wheatfield, on Tuesday (May 28) from 4-7 p.m. Services will be conducted by the Rev.     LEWISTON — Edmund R. Wendt, age 92, of Sanborn, died Saturday, June 23, 2012 in Mount St. Mary's Hospital in Lewiston, after a brief illness.

    Ed was born December 12, 1919 in Sanborn, NY, the son of the late Edward and Lena (Strassburg) Wendt, and was a lifelong resident. He married Jane M. McCollum on October 2, 1948. Jane predeceased him on April 10th of this year. Ed was a self-employed mechanic. He had worked as an Operating Engineer on the Power Project and as a bus mechanic for Niagara Wheatfield Schools.

    He had attended the Ransomville United Methodist Church. Ed enjoyed building and collecting model toys, NASCAR and attending Steam Engine Shows. He also has a collection of antique cars and tractors.

    He is survived by his children, Paul (Robin) Wendt of Lockport, Dan (Shelley) Wendt of Jamestown, NY, and Marleen (Conrad) Janik of Lockport; his grandchildren, Cori Flores, Raymond and Andrew Wendt, Elizabeth (Jeremy) Gruber, Edward Wendt, Conrad Jr. and Christopher Janik, and Liza Reinhardt; and three great-grandchildren, Joseph Flores, Emily Wendt and Amanda Clarkson. He was predeceased by two brothers, Alfred and Norman Wendt.

    Friends may call at HARDISON FUNERAL HOME, 3648 Ransomville Road, Ransomville, on Tuesday, June 26, from 6-8 PM and on Wednesday, June 27, from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at the Ransomville United Methodist Church, 2573 Youngstown Lockport Rd., Ransomville. Funeral services will begin in the church at 11:00 AM, with the Rev. Matthew Worley officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. View Cemetery, Pekin, NY.     SANBORN — Jane M. Wendt, age 82, of Sanborn, died Tuesday, April 10, 2012, surrounded by her loving family in Niagara Hospice House in Lockport.

    Jane was born April 20, 1929 in Youngstown, the daughter of the late Walter I. and Martha E. (James) McCollum. She was a 1946 graduate of Youngstown High School then attended Bryant & Stratton Business School. Jane married Edmund R. Wendt on October 2, 1948. She was employed at Harrison Radiator in Lockport for 30 years, retiring in 1988. Jane was a member of the Ransomville United Methodist Church. She enjoyed collecting stamps, crossword and jigsaw puzzles and crocheting. Most of all she loved being with her family.

    In addition to her husband, Edmund, she is survived by her children, Paul (Robin) Wendt of Lockport, Dan (Shelley) Wendt of Jamestown, NY, and Marleen (Conrad) Janik of Lockport; her grandchildren, Cori Flores, Raymond and Andrew Wendt, Elizabeth Gruber, Edward Wendt, Conrad, Jr. and Christopher Janik and Liza Reinhardt; her great-grandchildren, Joseph Flores, Emily Wendt and Amanda Clarkson; two sisters, Ramona (late Kenneth) Carter of Youngstown and Lorna (Ronald) Allen of Ransomville; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by four brothers, Leon, Lawrence (Priscilla), Robert (Loanne) and William (Sonja) McCollum; and a sister, Linda Decker.

    Friends may call at HARDISON FUNERAL HOME, 3648 Ransomville Road, Ransomville on Friday from 6-8 PM and at the Ransomville United Methodist Church on Saturday, April 14, from 10 to 11 AM. Funeral services will begin at 11:00 AM in the church with the Rev. Matthew Worley officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. View Cemetery, Pekin.     died Tuesday (Aug. 29,1972) in
    Memorial Medical Center after
    a long iUness.
    A native of Bergholtz, she
    had resided in Pekln since 1890.
    She was a lifelong member of
    St. Andrew's Lutheran Church.
    She was the wife of the late
    Edward A. Wendt, who died in
    1957. Survivors include three
    sons, Alfred a., Norman J.,
    and Edmund R. Wendt, and a
    sister, Mrs. Fred (Rachel) Van
    DeWalter, all of Pekin. Ten
    grandchildren and 12 great
    grandchildren also survive.
    Funeral services will be held
    Friday at 2 p.m. at St. An-
    drew's Lutheran Church with
    the Rev. Albert H. Gaal of-
    ficiating. Burial will be in St.
    Andrew's Lutheran Cemetery.
