Allen Ernest Proefrock, 70, of North Tonawanda, Friday, March 8, 1996 in DeGraff Memorial Hospital after a lengthy illness. Mr. Proefrock was a lifelong resident of North Tonawanda, a World War II Navy veteran and a former partner of Tonawanda Tool and Die in Tonawanda. He is survived by his wife, Ruth (nee Haseley) Proefrock, one sister, Mrs. Walter (Geraldine) Pukajlo of North Tonawanda, one niece, Mrs. Frank (Merry) Sheets of Tonawanda and one nephew, Walter (Randi) Pukajlo Jr. of Florida.

Friends may call at the Fretthold Funeral Home Inc., 1241 Oliver St., at Ward Road, North Tonawanda, Sunday and Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home Tuesday at 11 a.m. The Rev. Richard E. Pape will officiate. Interment in St. Matthew Lutheran Cemetery.

Proefrock - Ernest F. Proefrock, 85, of the Town of Wheatfield, suddenly Sunday (December 3, 1982). Mr. Proefrock was a member of the Town of Wheatfield Senior Citizens and St. Paul's Lutheran Church. Mr. Proefrock was the husband of the late Florence Proefrock who died in 1971.

He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Walter (Geraldine) Pukajlo; a son, Allen E. (Ruth) Proefrock, both of North Tonawanda; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two brothers, Eckhardt (Edna) Proefrock of the Town of Wheatfield and Howard (Florence) Proefrock of California; a sister, Mrs. Harold (Doris) Sitzmann of California; many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Fretthold Funeral Home, Inc., 1241 Oliver St. at Ward Rd., North Tonawanda this evening from 7 to 9 and Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 p..m. Proefrock - Florence R. Proefrock, 72, at 3647 Klemer Road, Town of Wheatfield, Wednesday (July 28, 1971) in DeGraff Memorial Hospital after a lengthy illness. Mrs. Proefrock was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church and the Ladies Aid Society.

She is survived by her husband, Ernest F. Proefrock; a daughter, Mrs. Walter (Geraldine) Pukajlo, and a son, Allen E. Proefrock, both of North Tonawanda; two grandchildren, four sisters, Mrs. Walter Wooldridge of Florida, Mrs. Thomas Faulkner of Kenmore, Mrs. Norman Compton and Mrs. Kenneth Urban, both of North Tonawanda.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Fretthold Funeral Home, Inc, 1241 Oliver Street, Ward Road, North Tonawanda, where services will be held Friday at 1:30 p.m., the Rev. Enno A. Schmoock will officiate. Interment in St. Matthew Lutheran Cemetery.

She was the mother of Ernest, Town of Wheatfield; Mrs. Chester Broecker, Town of Wheatfield; Mrs. William Rauch, East Aurora; Raymond, North Tonawanda; Eckhardt, Town of Wheatfield; Howard of California; and Mrs Howard Sitzman, Town of Wheatfield. She was the sister of Charles Hildebrandt, Town of Wheatfield; Mrs. Mary Livingston, Mrs Anna Ellman and Edward hildebrandt, both of the Town of Wheatfield; and Mrs Alfred Werth of N. Tonawanda. Twelve grandchildren and six great grandchildren also survive. Mrs. proefrock was a member of St John's Lutheran Church. Services will be held at 2:30PM Thursday from the fretthold Funeral Home, 1241 Oliver St at Ward Rd. with the Rev J. Walter Thiemecke officiating. burial will be in St John's Lutheran Cemetery.

WHEATFIELD MAN DIES
Charles Hildebrandt, 74, to Be Buried Tuesday Afternoon
NORTH TONAWANDA - Charles Hildebrandt , 74, years old, died yesterday morning at his home on the Niagara falls boulevard in the town of Wheatfield. Born in Germany, he had lived in the town the last 40 years. He is survived by four sons - Charles Hildebrandt, Jr., of North Tonawanda, and William, George and Edward Hildebrandt of Wheatfield; four daughters, Mrs. William Broefrock (sic), Mrs. Herman Ellman and Mrs. Alfred Werth of Wheatfield and Mrs. Harry Livingston of Buffalo; 26 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and a brother, Fred Hildebrandt of North Tonawanda. The funeral will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the residence, and half an hour later at the St. John's Church, St. Johnsburg. Burial will be in St. John's cemetery.
