    Hazel Nemeschy, of Mavis Drive, died Saturday (June 15, 1996) in Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center after a short illness. She was 98.
    Born in Niagara Falls, the former Hazel Stevenson was employed as a buyer for the former Bier's department store in Niagara Falls for many years. She also worked as a maid for the Ramada Inn for several years.
    Mrs. Nemeschy was a member of Abiding Savior Lutheran Church in North Tonawanda.
    Her husband, Benjamin, died in 1984.
    A funeral service will be held at 4 p.m. today in Cornell & Daggett Funeral Chapel, 2215 Military Road, Town of Niagara. Entombment will be in Riverdale Cemetery, Lewiston
