    PLETCHER - Rose Pletcher,
    65, formerly of North Tonawanda,
    died Saturday (July 22, 1961) in
    Lockport after a long illness. A
    native of North Tonawanda, Mrs.
    Pletcher is survived by a sister,
    Tonawandas and was formerly Mrs. Fred Lavendusky, and a
    employed by Semet-Solvay Co.
    He was a member of Salem United
    Church of Christ. He was the
    husband of the late Fredericka
    Hahn Heppner and is survived
    by a daughter, Mrs. Otto Genet;
    a son, Warren; a brother, Carl;
    a sister, Mrs. Charles Bruske, all
    of the Tonawandas; three grandchildren
    and four great - grandchildren.
    Friends may call from 2
    to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Wattengel
    Funeral Home, 307 Oliver St.,
    North Tonawanda, where services
    will be Monday at 3 pm. The
    Rev. Donald L. Gardella will officiate.
    Burial in White Chapel
    Memorial Park.

    Charles Broeker, seventy-one years
    old, died this morning at his home at
    No. 196 Stenzel street. Mr. Broker was
    stricken with apoplexy recently, resultng
    in his death He was one of the oldest
    residents of the Gratwick section
    of the city. Surviving are a wife and
    nine children.

    Mrs. Wilhelmina Broecker, 73 years old, wife of the late Charles Broecker, died last night at her home, 192 Stenzel street. She was born in Germany. For the past 40 years she had been a resident of North Tonawanda. She is survived by five daughters, Mrs. Rietch, Mrs. Herman Engel, Mrs. Otto Schimschack, Mrs. Fred Lavendusky and Mrs. William Pletcher, all of the Tonawandas; three sons, Albert Broecker, Pendleton, and William and Gustav Broecker, North Tonawanda; 28 grandchildren; four great grandchildren, and two brothers, William Mellentine, Germany, and Albert Mellentine, Niagara Falls, N. Y. The funeral will be held Sunday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock at the residence and half an hour later at the St. Paul's church on East Felton street, Rev. H. J. Kleiner of the Redeemer Lutheran church, Schenck street officiating.
