    Otto W. Schimschack

    Otto W. Schimschack, 62, of 304 Stenzil St., died this morning in the DeGraff Memorial Hospital after a lingering illness. A native of Bergholtz, he retired three years ago as a tavern and restaurant keeper at Pekin, N. Y. He was in business at Pekin for 12 years. Prior to that he was employed for 32 years by the Aluminum Company of America, Niagara Falls. He was a member of the company’s 25-Year-Club. He was also a member of the Pekin Fire Department and the St. Paul’s Evangelical and Lutheran Church on East Felton St. He was a deacon of the church at the time of his death. He was also a former trustee of the church. Surviving are his wife, Ella, nee Broecker; two daughters, Mrs. Charles Tomm and Mrs. Edgar Milke of Pekin; two sons, Alfred O. of Newfane and Robert C. of Pekin; four grandchildren, four brothers, Herman and William R. of Bergholtz, Fred of St. Johnsburg, and Ferdinand of Lockport. Last rites will be held Friday at 2 p.m. from the residence and at 2:30 p.m. from the St. Paul’s Church. The Rev. Leonard Baldwin will officiate. Burial will be in Elmlawn.

    Mrs. Wilhelmina Schimschack

    Mrs. Wilhelmina Schimschack, 86, died this morning at the home of her son, August, Bergholz, after a lingering illness. Born in Germany, Mrs. Schimschack had resided in Bergholz the past 53 years. She was a member of the Holy Ghost church in Bergholz. She leaves five sons, August and Herman, Bergholz; Ferdinand, Lockport; Fred, St, Johnsburg and Otto, Pekin; a brother, August Schroeder, Steubenville, O.; 22 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Rites will be held Wednesday afternoon at 1:30 o’clock from the late residence and at 2 o’clock from the Holy Ghost church. The Rev. John Kuchenbecker will officiate. Burial will be the Holy Ghost cemetery.

    Mrs. Wilhelmina Broecker, 73 years old, wife of the late Charles Broecker, died last night at her home, 192 Stenzel street. She was born in Germany. For the past 40 years she had been a resident of North Tonawanda. She is survived by five daughters, Mrs. Rietch, Mrs. Herman Engel, Mrs. Otto Schimschack, Mrs. Fred Lavendusky and Mrs. William Pletcher, all of the Tonawandas; three sons, Albert Broecker, Pendleton, and William and Gustav Broecker, North Tonawanda; 28 grandchildren; four great grandchildren, and two brothers, William Mellentine, Germany, and Albert Mellentine, Niagara Falls, N. Y. The funeral will be held Sunday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock at the residence and half an hour later at the St. Paul's church on East Felton street, Rev. H. J. Kleiner of the Redeemer Lutheran church, Schenck street officiating.
