A quiet wedding took place Wednesday
afternoon when Miss Margaret
Nelson, daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. Frank Nelson, of Buffalo, was
united in marriage with Clarence
Toellner, of North Tonawanda. The
attendants were Miss-Hilda Siegman
as bridesmaid and Clifford Toellner,
brother of the groom, as best man.
The bride was charming In an
Olympic blue silk gown with slippers
to match. The bridesmaid was attractively
attired In Pirate green, with
slippers to match. .After a wedding
trip, Mr. and Mrs. Toellner will be at
home at Buffalo

age 79. Of 3658 Klemer Rd.,
Town of Wheatfield. Died Thursday,
April. 25, 1963 in the North Town
Nursing Home, North Tonawanda after
a brief illness. Survived by 2 sons,
Clarence H. Toellner of North Tonawanda,
N. Y. and Clifford A. Toellner,
Town of Wheatfield. 4 grandchildren,
2 great grandchildren. Friends may
call at the Fretthold Funeral Home,
1241 Oliver St., North Tonawanda,
N.Y., where services will be held Saturday
at 2 p.m. The Rev. Enno A.
Schmoock will officiate. Interment in
St. John's Lutheran Cemetery. Mrs.
Schmacky was a member of St. Paul's
Lutheran Church.

A pleasant evening was spent at the
home of Mr. and Mrs. Henty Toellner
last Saturday when they celebrated
their 25th wedding anniversary. A
bountious supper was served to about
60 guests. Games and cards were played
during the evening and refreshments
were served. Many out-of-town
guests were present

Toellner, 74 years old, died yesterday
at his home on the Rule road. Born
In Germany, he came to North Tonawanda
with his family when fourteen
years old, making bis home In the

and George Toellner of the town of
Amherst, and a daughter. Mrs. William

Old Resident of Wheatfield Dead
Herman W. Strassburg, 62 years old, a life-long resident of the town of
Wheatfield, died at his home on the Ward road at St. Johnsburg yesterday.
The deceased was born Bergholtz. Besides his widow, three sons, Amos and
Herman Strassburg of Buffalo and Albert Strassburg of St. Johnsburg; one
daughter, Mrs. Henry Toellner of North Tonawanda, three brothers, William,
Paul and John Strassburg and three sisters, Mrs. William Krueger, Mrs. Aaron
Moll and Mrs. Ernest Sheibert, survive. The funeral will be held from the
late home at 1 o'clock on Sunday afternoon and a half hour later from the
St. Johnsburg Lutheran Church, the Rev. Mr. Toewe officiating. Burial will
be in the St. Johnsburg cemetery.

died in Wheatfield on Jan. 28, was admitted
to probate and letters testirrientary
issued to a son, Herman, and a
daughter, Lydia Toellner. of Wheatfield.
A. J. Strassburg Is left $500 and
the rest of the estate is to be divided
equally between three sons and one
daughter.
