    Weddings

    Huth Dietrich

    A very lovely wedding was solemnized

    at the St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran

    church on Cleveland avenue at

    Eighteenth street at seven o'clock

    Thursday evening when Miss Alice H.

    Dietrich, daughter of Mr. and Mrs.

    Walter Dietrich, became the bride of

    Earner Huth, son of Mr. and Mrs. William

    Huth of Clifford. Ontario. The

    Rev. O. H. Zlemer performed the ceremony.

    The church was beautifully decorated

    with spring garden flowers and

    palms.

    The bride, who entered the church on

    the arm of her father, who gave her in

    marriage, was lovely in a gown of eggshell

    lace over satin With jacket to

    match. Her beautiful long tulle veil

    was trimmed with rose point lace and

    held in place by a tight fitting lace cap

    with a small band of pearls. She carried

    a bouquet of bride's roses and baby

    breath tied with satin ribbon.

    Miss Marguerite Dietrich, sister of

    the bride, was the maid of honor and

    wore pink. The bridesmaids were Miss

    Helen Dietrich, sister of the bride, also

    wearing pink, Miss. Edna Heuer and

    Miss Gladys Schultz, both wearing blue.

    The attendants" gowns were made on

    straight lines with flowing pin tucked

    sklrte, they carried arm bouquets of

    roses and baby breath tied with ribbons

    to match their gowns. The little flowers

    girl, Dorothy Schultz was becomingly

    dressed In pink georgette trimmed with

    ecru net. She carried a tiny bouquet

    of sweet peas and baby breath.

    Before the ceremony Mrs. F. Hoyer

    sang "I Love You Truly." Miss Ruth

    Greenwald played the bridal music.

    The best man was Harold Huth,

    brother of the groom, and the ushers

    were Norman Heuer. Ernest Dietrich

    and Carl Stenzel.

    Mrs. Dietrich, the bride's mother, was

    attractively gowned in blue georgette

    with hat to match and wore a corsage

    of sweet peas and roses. Mrs. Huth.

    Following the ceremony a reception

    was held at the home of the bride. The

    bride's table had covers for fifteen and

    was centered with the wedding cake.

    Mr. and Mrs. Huth left for a trip to

    Torton. The brides going away costume

    was pink and white. After July 1.

    the couple will be at home at 2426

    Whitney avenue, this city.

    Pre-nuptlal affairs given for the bride

    were a variety shower by Mrs. Fred

    Schultz, a kitchen shower by Mrs. Fred

    Russ, a bedroom shower by Miss Edna

    Heuer and a variety shower by Mrs. J.

    Buchcr.

    Walter Dietrich Dies;
    Retired Meat Cutter

    Walter Dietrich. 67, a retired meat cutter, died suddenly this morning at his home, 2310 Pierce avenue.

    Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Martha E, Dietrich; three sons, Ernrst and Arthur Dietrich and Harry W. Johnson; three daughters, Mrs. Helen Staley, Mrs. Alice Huth and Mrs. Margaret Gordineer, and a sister, Kattle Herman, St. Louis, Mo.

    Funeral arrangements had not been completed at press time.

Schultz of Altamont, ILl., Rudolph D., Fred G., Ernest A., all of this city. She is also survived by one grandchild, Marlene Huth. Funeral from the home, 2209 Pierce avenue, Sunday, March 1, at 2 o'clock and from St. Paul's Lutheran church, corner Eighteenth street and Cleveland avenue, at 2:30 o'clock, Rev. Gustav Ziemer officiating. Interment in St. Paul's Lutheran cemetery at Bergholtz.

    MRS. DIETRICH DIES
    Pierce Avenue Resident Succumbs in Buffalo Hospital; Was Long Ill
    Mrs. Cordelia Dietrich, wife of Walter Dietrich, 2209 Pierce avenue, died in the General hospital, Buffalo, today, after a long illness. Funeral services will be held in the home, 2209 Pierce avenue, Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock, and in St. Paul's Lutheran church, Eighteenth street and Cleveland avenue, at 2:30 o'clock, the Rev. Gustav Ziemer officiating. Burial will be in St. Paul's cemetery at Bergholtz.
    Mrs. Dietrich had been ill since last November. She was born in Illinois and had lived in this city 12 years and during that time had made many friends. Besides her husband, Mrs. Dietrich is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Elmer Huth and the Misses Helen and Margaret Dietrich, and two sons, Ernest and Arthur Dietrich, all of this city; four brothers, Albert A. Schultz, Altamont, III., and Rudolph D., Fred G. and Ernest A. Schultz, all of this city, and a grandchild, Marlene Huth, also of this city.
