(March 14,19691 in Buffalo after
a brief illness.
Born in the Town of Wheat-
field,he had been a resident of
this area all his life. A veteran
of World War II, he was
employed at Continental Can
Company Inc., Corrugated Con-
tained Division, Shawnee Road,
for more than 20 years.
He was a member of St. Paul
Lutheran Church and the
Church Council. He also was a
member of the Rescue Fire
Company and the Firemen's
Benevolent Association.
Survivors include his wife.
Pearl (nee Mueller); two
daughters. Mrs. Thomas
(Sandra) Thompson of Carlisle.
Pa., and Miss Beth Behnke, at
home; a son. Jim Behnke. also
at home, and his mother. Mrs.
Lillian Behnke of North
Tonawanda.
Friends may call at the John
O. Roth Funeral Home. Morgan
and William Streets,
Tonawanda, where services will
be conducted at 1:30 p.m.
Monday by the Rev. Enno A.
Schmoock. Burial in St. Paul
Cemetery. If desired,
memorials may be made to St.
Paul Lutheran Church, Old
Falls Boulevard.

variety shower last evening at the
former's heme in Lockport avenue
in honor of Miss Pearl Mueller,
whose marriage to Mr. Myron
Behnke will take place Jury 24th.
Games featured the entertainment
and luncheon was served
from a table attractive with patriotic
decorations. The guest of honor
was presented with a red, white
and blue corsage, and with many
beautiful shower gifts.
