    Notes:

    Of the Town of Lockport, NY, passed away on Tuesday, November 7, 2017, in Buffalo General Hospital. He was born in Niagara Falls, NY, on September 25, 1949, the son of the late George W. and Florence [Milleville] Mielke.
    Mr. Mielke graduated from Niagara Wheatfield High School and was a lifelong learner and businessman.
    He owned Ron's Landscaping for many years before establishing  ABC Mobile Home Service & Supply and ABC Plaza, Inc.,  which he built from the ground up, owned and operated for the past 30 years.
    Mr. Mielke was the Past Vice Commodore of the Island Yacht Club in Wilson, the Power Squadron and was a member of BNI Group of Lockport.   He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, mowing the lawn and traveling throughout the world.
    Mr. Mielke is survived by his wife Gayle Knight-Mielke, two daughters Melissa (Dave) Kennedy, Jr. and Jennifer Mielke, two grandchildren David, III and Mackenzie, two brothers Dave (Connie) and Dan (Kathy) Mielke, one sister Kathy (Ron) Coty, his former wife and mother of his daughters Mary Mielke. He is also survived by his dog Sassy, many nieces, nephews, friends and coworkers.
    His family will be present on  Sunday, from 2-5 PM at the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 5893 Hoover Road, SANBORN, NY.      Funeral services will be held on Monday at 10:00 AM  at Grace Chapel, 5845 Locust Street, Lockport, NY, with the Pastor Tim Dombrowski officiating.
    Flowers are gratefully declined.      Memorials may be made in his name to Roswell Park Cancer Institute.

    Saturday (June 27, 1970) for the double
    ring ceremony uniting in marriage Miss Mary
    Angela Sica and Ronald Russell Mielke.
    The Rev. Donald Measer officiated at the
    service. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and
    Mrs. Roy J. Sica, 3439 Retsof Road. Mr.
    Mielke, of 2222 Mount Hope Road, Sanborn,
    is the son of Mr. and Mrs. George W. Mielke,
    Eiden Road, Mayville.
    Given in marriage by her father, the bride
    wore a gown of peau de soie with sleeves and
    bodice of Venise lace. Matching lace trimmed
    the train- and front of the gown. Her headpiece
    secured a finger tip veil and she carried
    white roses with daisies. The wedding
    ensemble was^made by the bride.

    ' MISS ROSE SICA was maid of honor for
    her sister. Miss 'Jean Schauffer, Miss Sharon
    Brown, Kathy Bockmier, sister of the bridegroom;
    Mrs. David Farrugia and Mrs. Keith
    Falkner were bridesmaids.
    They wore identically styled A-line gowns
    designed with empire waistline accented with
    wide lace and sheer slefcves, and carried
    bouquets of pink daisies.
    Daniel Mielke was best man for his brother.
    Ushers were Jerry Sica, brother of the bride;
    Tim Mielke, Steve Mielke, David Farrugia
    and Robert Owen.
    An evening reception was held at York
    Town Hall. On their return from a wedding
    trip to Cape Cod, Mass., Mr. and Mrs. Mielke
    will make their home in Mount Hope Road,
    Sanborn. The bride is an elementary school
    teacher and Mr. Mielke is a landscapes

    George W. Mielke, 73, of River Road, a truck driver for area construction and concrete companies for 27 years, died Saturday (July 9, 1994) in DeGraff Memorial Hospital, North Tonawanda, after a long illness.
    Born in Ransomville, Mielke served in the U.S. Army during World War II in the China-Burma campaign. He was a member of Greater Niagara Post 9011, Veterans of Foreign Wars.
    He was an avid gardener and enjoyed country music.
    Survivors include his wife of 50 years, the former Florence Milleville-; three sons, David and Ronald of Lockport and Daniel of Sherman; a daughter, Katherine Coty; a sister, Doris Measel of Tonawanda; several grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
    Services will be held at 8:30 P.M. Monday in the Rhoney Funeral Home, 5893 Hoover Road, Sanborn. Burial will be private.

    Florence Elizabeth (Milleville) Mielke, 94, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 25, 2017. She was born on August 7, 1922, the daughter of Hugo and Beata Milleville, and was the second of nine children. She moved to Las Vegas, NV in 2011. She was married 50 years to George William Mielke who predeceased her on July 9,1994.
    Florence is lovingly remembered by her four children, Dave (Connie) of Niagara Falls, NY, Dan (Kathy) of Pilot Point, TX, Ron (Gayle) of Lockport, NY, and Kathy (Ron) of Las Vegas, NV; six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her brother, Rick (Emy); sisters, Alice Lange (late Norbert) and Jan Kirchner (late Peter); and sisters-in-law, Joanne (late Alfred) Milleville, Jean (late Erwin) Milleville and Doris (late Ben) Measel. She was predeceased by sisters, Winifred (late Harold) Proefrock and Beatrice (Bill) Nehrboss; and brother, Donald (Gladys) Milleville.
    She was a life-long member of St. James Lutheran Church, Bergholtz, NY, sharing her sewing and needlework skills with Lutheran World Relief Quilts, Prayer Shawls for the homebound, and lap robes for veterans. She will always be remembered for her kindness, sense of humor, welcoming friendliness to all, willingness to help others in need, and her famous angel food cake. She will always hold a special place in everyone's hearts.
    Florence donated her body to science. There will be no prior visitation. A memorial service will be held at St. James Lutheran Church, Bergholtz, NY on Saturday, March 18, 2017 at 11 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.

    resident, Mrs. F. May Mielke, 105
    Prentice St., Lockport, died today
    (Jan. 22, 1958) at.Roswell Park
    Institute, Buffalo, after an 11 -week
    illness. She was 64.
    Mrs.. Mielke was .a member of
    the Lockport Golden - Age Club,
    Holy Ghost Lutheran Church,
    Bergholtz, and the Lutheran Women's
    Missionary Society.
    She is survived by two sons,
    Allan C. Mielke and George W.
    Mielke, both of Sanborn; three
    daughters, Miss Nellie Mielke,
    Mrs. Alma M. Rudd, and Mrs.
    Doris M Dickerson, all of Lockport,
    and a brother, Albert A.

    Her husband, Walter, died in
    1949.
    The body is resting at Gridley
    funeral Home, Niagara Falls,
    where services will be held at 1:30
    p.m. Friday. The Rev. Robert
    Jaeger will officiate. Burial will
    be in North Ridge Cemetery.

    MILLEVILLE - Hugo A. Milleville, 69, of 2049 Cayuga Drive Extension, Town of Wheatfield, died Thursday (Feb. 8, 1962) in St. Mary's Hospital, Niagara Falls, after a brief illness. Mr. Milleville was a lifelong resident of the Town of Wheatfield. He was a member of St. James Lutheran Church of Bergholz and the St. James Brotherhood; a member of the Retired Men's Club of Niagara Falls and a retired employee of the former Oldburg Chemical Co. He is survived by his wife, Beata (nee Mueller) Milleville. He was the father of Mrs. George Mueller, Mrs. Harold Proefrock, Mrs. Norbert Lange, Alfred and Richard Milleville, all of the Town of Wheatfield; Mrs. Edward Kysor and Erwin Milleville, both of Niagara Falls; Mrs. William Nehrboss of Akron and Donald Milleville of the Town of Niagara.
