    Beloved child of God, passed away on May 17th, 2008 in Coon Rapids, MN. Katie was born to missionary parents on December 16th 1931 in Soujbulak, Persia now known as Iran. She was a graduate of Wartburg College in Waverly, IA. She served the American Lutheran Church as a missionary in Papua New Guinea for 12 years. She taught first grade at L.O. Jacob Elementary School in Coon Rapids, MN for 27 years and was the creator and illustrator of the school's blue jay mascot. In 1953, she married Merrill Almon Clark and to that union were born six beautiful and strong children. Katie is survived by daughters and sons-in-law Carla Jean and Pastor Scott Larson, Robyn and Pastor Dan Clark-Bridges, Becky and Johnny Mitchum, Wendy Clark and David Dorow; sons and daughters-in-law Daniel and Nannette Clark, David Clark and Dr. Shu-Ling Chen; Katie was a remarkable woman and life-long educator. Her faith and love for all of God's creation was evident in the way she lived her life, her artistic abilities, and her poetry. Her witty sense of humor and clarity of mind were with her until the end. Mom's word was her bond. The good seeds she planted in many lives will be a lasting legacy. Visitation will be 4-8PM, Monday, May 19th and 10AM Tuesday.

    Rev. Henry A. Mueller The Rev. Henry A. Mueller, 78, of 10000 Mueller Court died Wednesday (Dec. 30, 1981) in Memorial Medical Center of an apparent heart attack. The Rev. Mr. Mueller was former director of Lutheran Orient Missions in Iran for eight years and in Iraq for five years. He pastored several Lutheran churches in this country, retiring in 1973, and was a member of St. James Lutheran Church in Bergholtz (sic-sp) since that time. He is survived by his wife, Margaret (Kearns); a son, the Rev. Philip of Senegal, West Africa; a daughter, Mrs. Katherine Clark of Minnesota; two sisters, Helen of this city and Mrs. Louise Beutel of North Tonawanda; three brothers, Daniel of Nova Scotia, the Rev. Marcus of Hastings, Neb., and Norman of this city, and several nieces and nephews and 12 grandchilren (sic). Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday al St. James Lutheran Church, Bergholtz (sic-sp). The Rev. John H. Crilley will officiate. Burial will be in St. James Lutheran Cemetery. Friends may call at the Fretthold Funeral Home, 1241 Oliver St., at Ward Road, North Tonawanda, from 2 to 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. Friday.     COON RAPIDS, MN - Margaret Kearns Mueller, 87, of Park River Estates Nursing Horne, died Sept. 23, 1993, at Mercy Hospital.
    She was born Feb. 19, 1906, in Korea. She grew up in South Dakota and Iowa. She attended school in Missouri and Chicago. In 1928, she married Henry A. Mueller of Niagara Falls. Together they served in the Lutheran Orient Mission board in Iran. Their two children, Philip Kearns Mueller and Katherine Iran Clark, were born in Iran.
    Pastor Henry and Mrs. Mueller also served parishes in Wisconsin and Iraq. She moved to Coon Rapids in 1981, after her husband's death.
    Mrs. Mueller is survived by a sister, Katherine White of Grand Junction, Colo.; 12 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
    Graveside services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at St. James Lutheran Church, Bergholz, with the Rev. David Menz officiating

    Margaret Kearns Mueller, resident of Park River Estates Nursing home for the past 14 months, died 23 Sept at Mercy Hospital in Coon Rapids, MN at the age of 87 years.
    She was born Feb 19, 1906 in Syen Chun, Korea of missionary parents. She grew up in Watertown, South Dakota and Mason City, Iowa. She attended Park College, Parkville, MO and Gregg School of Business in Chicago, Cook County, IL.
    In 1928, She married Henry A. Mueller of Niagara Falls, Niagara County, NY. Together they served under the Lutheran Orient Mission Board in Kurdistan, Iran from 1929-1936. Their two children Philip Kearns Mueller and Katheryn Clark, were born in Iran and pursued missionary careers in Iraq, Africa, and New Guinea.
    Pastor Henry and Margaret Mueller served parishes in Ladysmith, WI (1937-1948), Rice lake, WI (1945-1951), and Madison, WI (1951-1959) before leaving again for the Orient as directors of the mission in Arbil, Iraq,
    In 1958, after being under house arrest, revolution, and overthrow of the government in Iraq, all Americans were obliged to leave Iraq. The Muellers left all possessions behind and returned to the United States with only the clothes on their backs. From 1961 to retirement in 1973, they served two churches in Mazomanie, WI. After Henry's death in 1981, Margaret moved to Coon Rapids MN.
    Margaret Mueller is survived by a sister and brother in law Dr. Francis and Katherine White of Grand Junction, CO former missionaries in Cameroon, West Africa, in laws Norman and Lydia Mueller of Niagara Falls NY and Daniel and Mary Mueller of Enfield, Nova Scotia. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.

    P A Mueller Paper-maker, Dies at 91
    Philip A. Mueller, 91, of 9859 Cayuga Drive, a lifelong resident of the LaSalle area and a former papermaker, died Tuesday (May 11, 1965). Born in the former Village
    of LaSalle Mr. Mueller worked 57 years in the paper making industry here,vhaving been employed at the old Pettibone Paper Co., Niagara Wallpaper Co., Defiance Paper Co. and the International Paper Co. He retired in 1952 at the age of 78.

    Mr. Mueller was an avid hunter and fisherman during his earlier years. He was a member of St James Lutheran Church in Bergholz, and for many years was active in the church choir and the band in which he played the clarinet. mr. Mueller is Mr. Mueller is survived by two daughters, Helen at home, and Mrs. Rudolph (Louise) Beutel, of Sanborn, six sons, Paul, Albert and Norman of Niagara Falls;
    Daniel Mueller of Lewiston; Rev. Henry A. Mueller Mazomania, Wis., and Rev. Marcus Mueller, Altamont, 23 grandchildren and 36 great grandchildren.
    Rites on Friday
    Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at St. James Lutheran Church, Bergholtz, with Rev, Robert Lehman, officiating. Burial will be in St. James Cemetery. Friends may call at the Lane Funeral Home, 8622 Buffalo Ave., from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. today and Thursday, and from noon Friday. The family said contributions
    to world missions services would be accepted as tributes.
