    WURL – Gertrude B. Wurl, 51, died Wednesday (Jan. 1, 1964) at her residence, 2563 Wurl St., Bergholtz, after a lengthy illness. She is survived by her husband, Wilmer E., and a daughter, Linda, at home; four sisters, Esther Elser of North Tonawanda, Mrs. Leslie (Ella) Geyer of Buffalo, Mrs. Olaf (Edna) Ohrstrum of Millport, N.Y. and Mrs. John (Jeanette) Sieber of California, and five brothers, Walter, Elmer, Arthur, Norman and LeRoy Malchow, all of California. Friends may call at the Fretthold Funeral Home, 1241 Oliver St., at Ward Road, where services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday. The family will be in attendance from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. The Rev. Enno A. Schmoock will officiate. Interment in Acacia Park Cemetery. Mrs. Wurl was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church and the Ladies Aid Society.

    Fred Luchterhand, 69 years old. died
    Saturday at his home at No. 460
    Franklin street after a brief illness.
    Besides' his wife, three daughters.
    Mm John Geyer of Detroit, Mich.;
    Mrs. Charles Malchow of Martinsville
    and Mrs. Edward Harper of Ruther
    ford, N. J., and two sons. Charles
    Luehterhand of Toaawanda and Pred
    Luehterhand of Cleveland. O.. survive-
    The deceased had lived In Tonawanda
    for 30 years. The funeral will be held
    from the family home at 2 o'clock
    Tuesday afternoon and a half hour
    later from Salem church on Morgan
    atreet, the Rev. Andrew Mils officiating.
    Burial will be made in the city
    cemetery. Nineteen grandchildren also
    survie. Lucherhand was a member of
    the Men's Society of Salem Church.
