WURL – Gertrude B. Wurl, 51, died Wednesday (Jan. 1, 1964) at her residence, 2563 Wurl St., Bergholtz, after a lengthy illness. She is survived by her husband, Wilmer E., and a daughter, Linda, at home; four sisters, Esther Elser of North Tonawanda, Mrs. Leslie (Ella) Geyer of Buffalo, Mrs. Olaf (Edna) Ohrstrum of Millport, N.Y. and Mrs. John (Jeanette) Sieber of California, and five brothers, Walter, Elmer, Arthur, Norman and LeRoy Malchow, all of California. Friends may call at the Fretthold Funeral Home, 1241 Oliver St., at Ward Road, where services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday. The family will be in attendance from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. The Rev. Enno A. Schmoock will officiate. Interment in Acacia Park Cemetery. Mrs. Wurl was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church and the Ladies Aid Society.

WURL - Fred J. Wurl, 84, of 2563 Wurl St., Town of Wheatfield, died
Wednesday ( May 15, 1963) at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Bruno Schultz,
in Tucson, Ariz. He was the husband of the late Josephine Wurl. Surviving
are three sons, Lester of Tucson and Wilmer and Frederick of the Town of
Wheatfield; a daughter, Mrs. Bruno (Mildred) Schultz of Tucson; a brother,
Gerhard Wurl of North Tonawanda, and three sisters, Mrs. Ada Burrrow of
Hamburg and Mrs. Benjamin Toellner and Mrs. Edward Lebrenz, both of North
Tonawanda. Also surviving are seven grandchildren. Friends may call after
10 a.m. Saturday at the Fretthold Funeral Home, 1241 Oliver St. at Ward
Road, where services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday. The Rev. Lothar
Meyer will officiate. Interment in Holy Ghost Lutheran Cemetery. Mr. Wurl
was a member of the Holy Ghost Lutheran Church and the 20-Year Club of the
National Grinding Wheel Co.

WURL - Josephine D., age 77, of Wurl St., Bergholtz, N.Y. died in the
DeGraff Hospital this morning after a long illness. Mrs. Wurl is survived by
her husband, Fred Wurl; she was the mother of Lester and Mrs. Bruno Schultz,
both of Tucson, Arizona, Wilmer and Frederick, both of the Town of
Wheatfield; 7 grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Minnie Doebler of North
Tonawanda. Friends may call at the Fretthold Funeral Home where services
will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. The Rev. John Jaeger will officiate.
Interment in Holy Ghost Lutheran Cemetery. Mrs. Wurl was a member of the
Holy Ghost Lutheran Church and of its Ladies Aid Society.

WURL-Augusta (sic) L. Wurl, wife of the late J. Frederick Wurl, died at the home of her son, Gerhard C. Wurl, 466 Falls Boulevard, North Tonawanda, Jan. 16th, 1933. Funeral from the home of her son, Gerhard Wurl, Wednesday at 2 o'clock and 2.30 from St. Paul's church. Rev. F. A. Hinners will officiate. Interment in St. Paul's cemetery.

Mrs. Augusta A. Wurl
Mrs. Augusta A. Wurl, 77 years old, died today at the home of her son,
Gerhard C., 466 Niagara Falls boulevard. She was born in the town of Niagara
and had lived in North Tonawanda for the past 60 years. She was a member of
the St. Paul's church and the wife of the late Frederick Wurl.
Surviving are four sons, William F., Charles M., Walter J. and Gerhard C.,
North Tonawanda and Frederick J., Bergholz; four daughters, Mrs. Ada Burow,
Buffalo, Mrs. Arthur Lorenz and Mrs. Edward Lebrenz, North Tonawanda, and
Mrs. Benjamin Toellner, Nashville; 23 grandchildren and nine great
grandchildren, five brothers, John Ziehl, Amherst, Ferdinand Ziehl, North
Tonawanda, Gustav Ziehl, Pendleton, William Ziehl, Milwaukee, and Charles
Ziehl, Hartland, and three sisters, Mrs. William Hartwig, Niagara Falls,
Mrs. Mary Goerss, North Tonawanda, and Mrs. Gottfried Fleishman, Wellsville.
The funeral will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the late
residence and half an hour later at the St. Paul's church. Rev. F. A.
Hinners will officiate and burial will be in the St. Paul's cemetery.

MRS. AUGUSTA KOLBE.
Mrs. Augusta Kolbe, 67 years old, wife of the late John Kolbe, died yesterday afternoon at the home of her daughter. Mrs. Gustav Doebler, 312 Shartle place. Mrs. Kolbe was born in Bergholz, Germany. Since, coming to America 60 years ago she had lived in the town of Wheatfield and North Tonawanda. Survivng are two daughters, Mrs. Doebler and Mrs. Fred Wurl. Bergholz; a son, John Kolbe, North Tonawanda, and thirteen grandchildren. The funeral will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Doebler residence and half an hour later from the St. Matthew's church on Wheatfield street, Rev. Carl Frankenstein officiating. Interment will be at the Holy Ghost cemetery, Bergholz.

Burial will be made in the city
cemetery. Nineteen grandchildren also
survie. Lucherhand was a member of
the Men's Society of Salem Church.
