    Mrs. Townsend Dies At Age 68 Mrs. Grant (Frances S.) Townsend, 68, of 4136 Lake Ave., a retired Harrison worker, died Wednesday (March 23,1 1966) at Inter - Community Memorial Hospital at Newfane. Born in the Town of Cambria on Oct. 26, 1897, she was the daughter of Albert and Minnie Dohring Kraatz. Mrs. Townsend was employed for many years in assembly work at the Harrison Radiator Division. General Motors Corp. and retired several years ago. Surviving are her husband; two daughters and two sons, Mrs. Robert T. Swift of Newfane, Mrs. Clarence C. King; Robert F. and Charles H. Townsend, all of Lockport; one brother and two sisters, Fred Kraatz and Mrs. Percy B. Smith, both of Lockport and Mrs. Paul Everett of Buffalo; also 14 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Beginning this evening. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., where funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday. The Rev. Gordon R. Bender, pastor of the Assembly of God Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Wrights Corners Cemetery.

    LOCKPORT — A l b e r t W.
    Kraatz, 91, a retired Town of
    Cambria farmer, died Sunday
    (March 30, 1958), at the home of
    a son, Fred W. Kraatz, 188 Park
    Ave. He had been ill for about a
    week.
    Mr. Kraatz was born Feb. 16,
    1867, at Wolcottsville, son of Mr.
    and Mrs. Louis Kraatz. He had
    operated a farm at Molyneaux
    Corners all of his adult life. He
    retired 25 years ago when he
    moved here.
    He is survived by three daughters,
    Mrs. Grant Townsend, Mrs.
    Percy Smith, both of Lockport,
    and Mrs. Paul Everett, Buffalo:
    two sons, Fred W. and Edward
    Kraatz, Lockport, and 17 grandchildren
    and 50 great-grandchildren.
    The Rev. Herbert. L. Siegner,
    pastor of the United Church of
    Christ, will conduct services at 11
    a.m. Wednesday at the Taylor and
    Reynolds Funeral Home. Burial
    will be in North Ridge Cemetery.

    The death of Minnie Kraatz, 44, years old, wife of Albert Kraatz, farmer, occurred yesterday at the family home on the Ridge Road near Molyneaus Corners. Her husband and five children. Frances, Alice, Susie, Frederick and Edward Kraatz survive. The funeral will take place Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock with burial in North Ridge cemetery.

    The Funeral services of the late Charles Dohring were held Wednesday Feb 16, at 2 o'clock from the home on Chestnut Ridge, town of Royalton, and was largely attended by sorrowing relatives and friends. Rev. Paul Franenfeld of Lockport, assisted by Rev. B. H. Knuebel of Wolcottsville officiated, Mrs. Dean and Miss Fredricks of Lockport accompanied by Miss (illegible) at the piano, rendered two beautiful selections The floral offerings were many and beautiful showing the esteem the deceased was held. The bearers were six nephews of the deceased. Interment was in Chestnut Ridge cemetery.
