Obituary of Donald A. Flechsenhaar

Donald A. Flechsenhaar passed away December 9, 2019 in Eastern Niagara Hospital.  Born May 25, 1939 in Lockport he was the son of George and Arlene (Webster) Flechsenhaar.  Donald served in the US Army from 1961-1967 during Vietnam.  He worked in production for Harrison Radiator for 30 years retiring in 1994.  Donald was a member of the B. Leo Dolan Post 316, the VFW, Navy/Marine Club, Redman, the Moose, and the USW.  He enjoyed traveling, fishing, and his hunting camp in the Southern Tier.
Donald is survived by his wife Margaret (Haseley) Flechsenhaar; step-daughter Sandra (Michael) Furlong; step-grandchildren Christopher Furlong and Jill Pusateri; great grandchildren Joseph and Raven Pusateri; siblings Joan (late Leonard) Bower, Thomas (late Karen) Flechsenhaar, James (Lori) Flechsenhaar and late George Flechsenhaar, Jr.; also aunts Marilyn Webster and Sally Flechsenhaar and several cousins, nieces and nephews.

Florence E. Haseley passed away Nov. 7, 2007 in Odd Fellows and Rebekah health Care Facility. Born 26 Sep 1915 in Lockport, she was the daughter of Albert & Edith Buehring Huth. Florence worked for 25 years in production for Corson Manufacturing. She was a member of the Redmen Club. Florence was predeceased by her husband Howard Haseley. Florence is survived by her daughter Margaret (Donald) Flechsenhaar of Lockport. She is the grandmother of Sandra (Micahel) Furlong of Lockport, greatgrandmother of Jill (Dillon) Pusitari and Christopher Furlong of Lockport, and greatgreat grandmother of Joseph and Raven Pusitari. Florence was also predeceased by her brothers Norman, Clarence, Kenneth, and Carl Huth. Relatives and friends may call on friday from 3 to 7 PM where funeral sevices will held immediately following at 7 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St. Lockport, Niagara County, NY. Interment will be in Husky Cemetery.

Charles H. Flechsenhaar died September 3rd, 1943. He is survived by his wife Catherine, six sons and one daughter, George E. of Lockport, Mark R., of Lockport, Richard J., of Knowlesville, Private Charles H., Private William of California, Corp. John H. of New York City, and Mrs. LaVerne Penwright of Lockport, two brothers and four sisters, Henry of Newfane, George of Champaign, Ill., Mrs. Martha Shultz, Mrs. Staniaeus Lufton, Lockport, Mrs. Henry Penn of Eggertsville, and Mrs. Seth Clark of Buffalo, also nine grandchildren. His mother Mrs. Herman Flechsenhaar of Lockport.

The Funeral will be held Monday, Sept 6, 1943, from the home 37 Charlotte Street at 8:30 o'clock and 9:00 o'clock at St Patrick's Church. Interment will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery.

LOCKPORT - Mrs. Catherine L. Flechsenhaar, 81 of 4055 Johnson Road, Town of Lockport, died today, (Sept 16 1968) at Lockport Memorial Hospital after a long illness.

Born in Lowville, NY 7, 1887, the daughter of Michael and Jane Carlin, she has been a resident of this city and a member of St. Patrick's for the last 61 years.

Very active in St. Patrick's church affairs, she was a member of many of the organizations there including the Alter and Rosary Society, Ladies of Charity, the Bishop's committee, the Sacred Heart League, the Blue Cross of St. Patrick's and Our Lady of Fatima.

August married WITTKOPP, Anna Marie on 23 Feb 1909 in Wolcottsville, Town of Royalton, Niagara County, NY. GASPORT - Mrs. Anna M. Haseley, 84, of 8872 Haseley Road, died Friday (Nov. 3, 1972) at Medina Memorial Hospital after a long illness. She was born Feb. 8, 1888, in Niagara County, the daughter of Augustus and Augusta (Wagner) Wittcopp. Her husband, the late Frederick Haseley died in 1950. Mrs. Haseley is survived by a son, Howard G. Haseley of Gasport; a granddaughter, Mrs. Remo (Margaret) Cicciarelli of Lockport and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at St. Michael's Church, Wolcottsville, with the Rev. Hilbert Huth officiating. Burial will be In St. Michael's Cemetery. Friends may call today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., and Sunday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9. at the Wallace and Heath Funeral Home Inc. and Monday from 1 to 2 p.m. at St. Michael's Church.
