U.S. Army Veteran, long time member of Masonic Lodge 855 and Medinah Shriners over 50 years. beloved husband of the late Eleanor and the late Donnamae; loving brother of Jean (Jerry) Sychowski and the late Albert (the late Mary) Imlach; cherished uncle of Carol (Bill) Hebel, Linda (David) Anderson, Marianne (Mark) Evans, Mark (Debbie) Sychowski, Craig (Lisa) Sychowski and Geri Sychowski; dear great-uncle of Steven (Lauren) Christiano and Ryker Sychowski; fond great-great-uncle of Dexter Christiano. George dedicated his life as a stage hand and a carpenter for over 50 years. Visitation Wednesday, September 13, from 4 to 9 pm; Masonic service 7:30 pm; Funeral service Thursday 11 am at Lawrence Funeral Home, 4800 N. Austin Ave., Chicago. Interment will be private. Interment Oak Ridge-Glen Oak Cemetery.
