JAEGER - Anton Jaeger, Sr., 91, of North Tonawanda, Sunday (April 4, 1982) at DeGraff Memorial Hospital. Born in Austria, Hungary (sic), Mr. Jaeger had been a resident of North Tonawanda the past 75 years. He was a member of Friedens United Church of Christ. Retired in 1958 from the Wurlitzer Co., after 48 years of service. Mr. Jaeger is survived by his wife, Anna (nee Denk) Jaeger; three sons, Anton (Anne), Carl (Marion) and Emil (Rita) Jaeger all of the Tonawandas; four daughters, Mrs. Joseph (Katherine) Baumgartner, Mrs. Thomas (Alice) Batt, and Mrs. Laverne (Mildred) Otterstein, all of North Tonawanda, and Mrs. Alvin (Leona) Schimschack of Niagara Falls, father of the late George J. Jaeger, he is also survived by two sisters, Mrs. Henry (Elizabeth) Eichorn of Niagara Falls, Ont., and Mrs. Katherine Rumi of New Jersey; 20 grandchilden, 21 great-grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. Friends may call Monday 7 to 9 and Tuesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., at the Wattengel Funeral Home, Inc., 307 Oliver St., North Tonawanda where services will be held Wednesday at 10:30 a.m., the Rev. Dr. Paul R. Ritter officiating. Burial Friedens Cemetery. If desired, memorials may be made to Friedens United Church of Christ or DeGraff Memorial Hospital.
