WILSON, Aug. 15 - At a dou-
ble ring ceremon at 3 o'clock on
August 8, Miss Helen Esther Schaal,
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edwin
F. Schaal, Wilson, was united in
marriage to Burnette C. Wollaber,
son of Mr. and Mrs. Oscar C.. Wo-
laber, Sanborn at St. Paul's Evan-
gelical Lutheran church, Wilson.
The Rev. Bernard Walck, Taylors-
ville, N. C., cousin of the bride, of-
ficiated at the candlelight ceremony.
The petite bride was given in
marriage by her father before an
altar decorated with baskets of
white gladiolas, w h i t e carnations
and palms. She wore a gown of
imported chantilly lace and satin
with an illusion neckline in an of-
the-shoulder effect. The lines of
the gown were form fitting with
lace finished off into deep scallops
revealing a flounce of nylon tulle.
She wore a band trimmed with vel-
veteen forget-me-nots, attached to
a double illusion scalloped finger-
tip veil. She carried a cascade of
white roses centered with a white
orchid and wore pearl ear rings,
the gift of the bridegroom.
Miss Delores Schaal, sister of
the bride, was maid of honor,
gowned in a strapless bodice of
pink mylon tulle over taffeta with
lace jacket. She wore a head band
of deep pink roses and carried a
nosegay of same, a string of pearls,
the gift of the bride, completed
the outfit.
Miss Ruth Schaal, sister of the
bride, and Mrs. Donald Pierce,
Lewiston, bridesmaids, were simi-
larly gowned in mint green with
head bands of yellow roses and car-
ried nosegays of same.
Little Bonnie Beutel, cousin of
the bride, was flower girl, gowned
in white nylon net over taffeta with
an illusion neckline. She wore a
head band of yellow roses adn car-
ried a basket of white mums and
yellow roses.
Donald Pierce served as best
man, and Elton Schaal, brother of
the bride, Kenneth Wollaber, Har-
old Wollaber, brothers of the
bridegroom, and Larry Eckler, per-
formed the ushering duties.
During the ceremony miss Mar-
garet Romweber, Franklinville,
sang "O Perfect Love". "O Promise
Me" and "The Lords Prayer." She
was accompanied at the organ by
George McComb.
Miss Edin Schaal, mother of the
bride, chose a street-length gown
of Alive Blue chantilly lace with
white accessories. Her corsage was
of yellow roses. Mrs. Wollaber,
mother of the bridegroom, was at-
tired in a street-length dark green
crepe frock with matching acces-
sories and a corsage of pink roses.
An evening reception for 175
guests was held at American Legion
hall, Ransomville. A three-tiered
wedding cake with candles on either
side graced the bride's table
The bride chose a suit of aqua
colored linen with black velvet ac-
cessories and white orchid for her
wedding trip. Following a honey-
moon in the Adirondacks, Mr. and
Mrs. Wollaber will make their
home on Town Line road, Wilson.
Prenuptial showers, in honor of
the bride, were given by Mrs. C. E.
Gritzmacher, Wilson, Mrs. Donald
Pierce, Lewhton, and Miss Delores
Schaal, Wilson.

WILSON—Edwin F. Schaal, 72, of 2841 Wilson.- Cambria Road, died Saturday (Sept. 21, 1968) at Mount View Hospital, Lockport. He was born in Buffalo, March 8, 1896, the son of Amil and Minnie Sohultz Schaal. He was married Jan. 28, 1926 at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Walmore, to the former Agatha Beutel, who survives him.

A farmer most of his life, he was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church where he served as treasurer and as a member of the board of directors.

In addition to his wife, survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Burnette (Helen) Wallaber of Sanborn, and Mrs. Gale (Ruth) Pasquarette of Verona, Pa.; a son, Elton of Wilson; two brothers, Elmer of Akron and Howard of Wilson; three sisters, Miss Mildred Schaal of Wilson, Mrs, Laura Urban of North Tonawanda, and Mrs. Elsie Carrigan of Wilson, and 10 grandchildren. He also was the father of the late Delores Eckler.

Friends may call at the Hamilton
and Clark Funeral Chapel beginning today. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the chapel and at 2:30 p.m. in St. Paul's Lutheran Church. The Rev. Charles Fredericks will officiate. Burial will be in North Ridge Cemetery.

The family said contributions to St. Paul's organ fund would be acceptable as tributes.

John Beutel. 80, of 2430 Cudaback
avenue, a retired farmer and
native of Niagara county, died early
today at his home.
Born in Walmore, Mr. Beutel operated
a farm for the ??
of his life until he retired recently.
He is survived by three sons. Edward,
William and Hubert Beutel,
all of Sanborn, and three daughters,
Mrs. Emil Walck and Mrs. Adolph
Devantier, both of this city, and
Mrs. Evan Shall, Wilson. Eighteen'
grandchildren and eight greatgrandchildren
also survive.
Funeral services will be held at
the home Saturday at 2 p. m. and
at 2:30 o'clock at St. Peter's church,
Walmore, with the Rev. Edward
Grabau officiating. Interment will
be In Walmore cemetery.
