Dolores M. Long (Kanalley) age 74, of Baer Road, Sanborn, entered into rest unexpectedly on Thursday, June 1, 2006 while in ECMC. Born in Buffalo, NY on October 18, 1931 to the late Wallace and Mildred (McQuaid) Kanalley. A graduate of Mount St. Mary's High School, she moved to Niagara County in the mid 1950's. Dolores was a devoted homemaker, was a member of Immaculate Conception R. C. Church, and enjoyed sewing, cooking and traveling. Survivors include three children, Robin Long of Sanborn, Keith (Judy) Long of Wheatfield and Gary Long of Niagara Falls; two brothers, Kevin. Kanalley of Grantsville, WV, James Kanalley of Lockport; four grandchildren, one great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, William Long on October 7, 1993; and two brothers, Kennith (sic) and Joseph Kanalley. Private services were held at the DuBois Funeral Home in Wheatfield on Sunday, June 4th. Interment in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
