    A memorial service for Frederick Luick, a lifelong resident of Niagara Falls, will be held at 1 P.M. Saturday in the Peter A. Wilson Funeral Chapel, 8904 S. Military Road. Burial will be in Riverdale Cemetery, Lewiston.
    Luick, 77, of Shantz Avenue, died Saturday (Nov. 25, 1989) in Mount St. Mary's Hospital, Lewiston.
    He served in the Navy during World War II and was a press foreman at Moore Business Forms for 35 years until he retired in 1971. He then worked from 1972 to 1977 at Fisher-Price Toys in Medina. He was a member of the LaSalle Yacht Club and the Moore Retirees Club.
    Survivors include his wife, Jane; a daughter, Laurie Jane; a brother, John, and three sisters, Edna Nevling of St. Petersburg, Fla., Dorothy Frawley and Olive Salt.

    Jane S. Luick, 74, who taught in the Niagara Falls school system for 33 years, died Saturday (Nov. 20, 1999) in CrestWood Health Care Center in Wheatfield after a long illness. Born in Niagara Falls, the former Jane Servis grew up in Youngstown, attending local schools and graduating from what is now Buffalo State College in 1947.
    She taught first and second grade at the former Cayuga Drive School and later at the 93rd Street School. She retired in 1980. Mrs. Luick was a member of the state and Niagara Falls Retired Teachers associations. She belonged to Riverside Presbyterian Church, where she taught Sunday school. She enjoyed boating and was a member of the LaSalle Yacht Club. Her husband of 40 years, Fred, died in 1989. Survivors include a daughter, Laurie of Niagara Falls. A memorial service will be held at 4 P.M. Friday in Riverside Presbyterian Church, 84th Street and Lindbergh Avenue. Burial will be in Riverdale Cemetery, Lewiston.

    Of Mr. Fred Luiclc in Youngstown Ceremony
    A lovely home wedding was solem-
    nixed this afternoon when Miss
    Jane Spencer Servis. daughter of
    Mr. 8pencer Servis. Youngstown.
    became the bride of Mr. Fred O.
    Lulck, son of Mrs. Jacob Lulck. this
    city. The setting for the wedding
    took place in the French doorway
    of the Servis home, with a background
    of ferns flanked by beauty
    baskets of chrysanthemums shading
    from yellow to deep bronze
    Preceding the ceremony Miss
    Geraldine Dewey, Fredonla, sang
    Orieg's- "I Love Thee." and at the
    end of the service. "The Lord's
    Prayer." The musical background
    was provided by Mrs. Spenoer Ser-
    vis.
    Given In marriage by her father,
    the bride was lovely In a deep
    brown, quilted taffeta, cocktail-
    length dress with matching brown
    felt hat 'with bronze feathers. She
    wore a corsage of talisman roses•
    and matching accessories. Her only
    attendant was Mrs. Calvin Keller,
    West Beverlyn drive, who wore teal
    blue lace over taffeta, dark red felt hat
    and dark red rose corsage.
    The Rev. Lawrence Herfurth of
    Zlon Evangelical Lutheran church,
    Csgnjga drive, performed the cere-
    mony.
    The best man was Mr. Calvin Keller.
    Following the ceremony, which
    was witnessed by only members of
    the immediate families, a reception
    will be given at Liddell's Lewiston
    from 4 to 6 p. m. Reclevlng with
    the bridal couple will be Mrs. Spen-
    cer Servis in a black suit dress with
    light blue bodice and black Jacket
    and black hat. and the mother of
    the bridegroom, in a black ensemble.

    More than 100 guests will attend,

    bride wearing a navy blue gabardine
    suit with white feathered turban

    Mrs. Emily Luick, 85, of 1110 92nd St, a native of Germany and resident of this, city for the last 82 years, died yesterday at Memorial Hospital after a long illness. She was a member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church for many years. Mrs. Luick arrived in the LaSalle section in 1873 at the "age of three with her four brothers and three sisters. She had lived at the 92nd St. home since her marriage to Jack Luick in 1893. Her husband was a constable for 30 years. Her father farmed land near Pine Ave, Blvd. and the 94th St. bridge. Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Joseph Shomers Sr., Mrs. Samuel Salt, Mrs. Simon Frawley, this city; Mrs. Vaughn Nevling, Madera, Pa.; four sons, Elmer Luick, John Luick, Fred Luick and Carl Luick, all this city; 25 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren. Funeral services will be. held Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at the Lane Funeral Home and at 2 pm. at the church, with the Rev. Lawrence E. Herfurth, minister, officiating. Burial will be in Riverdale Cemetery.

    ELIZABETH LUICK, ONE OF NIAGARA PIONEERS, IS CLAIMED BY DEATH
    Ill Since Christmas, Resident of City 72 Years, Dies at Home of Daughter.
    Death today claimed one of the pioneer's of the Niagara frontier in the person of Mrs. Elizabeth Luick, who resided with her daughter, Mrs. Anthony P. Spitzig, at 910 Morley avenue. She had been ailing since Christmas and has failed rapidly within the last few weeks. Mrs. Luick, who was 88 years old, came to this country from Germany when a young girl. She was Elizabeth Geltz. She married Jacob Luick and has lived in La Salle for the past 72 years. Mrs. Luick was a member of the La Salle Lutheran church and was always interested in its welfare. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Anthony Spitzig, of this city, and Mrs. Henry V. Meahl. Akron, N. Y.; three sons, Leonard J., Albert and Jacob, all of this city. She is also survived by 22 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren. The funeral will be held from the Spitzig home, Saturday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock, the Rev. George Hoyer officiating. Interment will be in Whitmire cemetery.

    be found. He was formerly a weU known
    business contractor and many cf the
    new buildings at Fort Niagara were
    built under his supervision. He also
    built several government buildings r.ear
