    SANBORN - Dolores C. Stenzel, a health worker and owner of Stenzel Motel in Niagara Falls, died Monday while under the care of Niagara Hospice. She was 74.
    Born Dolores Miller in Ambler, Pa., she moved to Niagara Falls as a child in 1934 and attended local schools.
    Her husband, Gordon H., died in 1985, and she moved to Sanborn in 1991.
    Mrs. Stenzel was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Niagara Falls, where she taught Sunday school for many years. She also was a member of the Sanborn Seniors, the Butterfly Red Hat Society and the Cataract Campers.
    She volunteered at the Lutheran Association for Developmentally Deprived.
    Mrs. Stenzel worked for 16 years at the Health Association of Niagara County. She was employed by the Change Exchange in Niagara Falls until she became ill.
    Surviving are two sons, Greg and Neil, and four brothers, Clayton Miller and Donald, Dale and David DeMaison.
    Services will be at 11 A.M. Thursday in Grace Lutheran Church, 736 Cayuga Drive, Niagara Falls.

    died Saturday (Sept. 8,1962)
    in DeGraff Memorial Hospital.
    A lifelong resident of
    Wheatfield, Mr. Stenzel operated
    a construction business,
    retiring in 1955. Since
    then, he operated Stenzel
    Motel on the boulevard.
    He was a member of St.
    James Lutheran Church and
    the brotherhood of the
    church.

    Funeral services will be held Saturday for Mrs. Helen Stenzel Loge, 72, of 2305 Niagara Falls Blvd., Town of Wheatfield, who died Thursday (April 20, 1972) in Memorial Medical Center after a one week illness.
    Mrs. Loge operated the Stenzel Motel in Niagara Falls Boulevard until 1963. She is survived by her husband, Fred R. Loge; two sons, Gordon H. Stenzel of Wheatfield and Howard Loge of Lewiston; three daughters, Mrs. Helen Ashley and Mrs. Ruth Seely of Lewiston, and Mrs. Dorothy Stevenson, Weston, Conn.; four brothers, Edward DeVantier of Niagara Falls, John DeVantier of Wheatfield, and Alfred and Harold DeVantier of Sanborn; two sisters, Mrs. Edna Mueller of Niagara Falls, and Mrs. Irma Blank of Sanborn; four grandchildren, one great-great granddaughter and 13 step-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday at St. James Lutheran Church, Bergholtz, with the Rev. Robert H. Lehman officiating. Burial will, be in St. James Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. today and from 10 a.m. to 1: 30 p.m. Saturday at the Lane Funeral Home.

    BERGOLTZ, June 10.—One of the
    prettiest weddings of the season was
    solemnised last Saturday evening,
    June 5, at the St. Jacob's church,
    when Miss Helen Devantler, daughter
    of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Devantler, of
    the Buffalo-Falls boulevard, was
    united in marriage to Mr. Herbert
    Stenzel of North Tonawanda, N. Y.,
    the Rev. O. Bruss officiating.
    Promptly at 7 o'clock, to the strains
    of Lohengrin's wedding march, played
    by Mr. Theo D. Graball, the bridal
    T)arty entered the church which was
    filled with friends and^relatives of
    the young couple and decorated with
    cut flowers and ferns. The brld»,
    who was given away by her father,
    looked beautiful In a gown ofxjvhlte
    satin crepe and Honltou lace, and her
    tulle veil waa cap shaped with
    oranse blossoms forming a coronet
    and edging tho veil. She carried a
    shower bouriutt of cream roses, lillies
    of the valley and smjfax tied with
    white satin ribbon and streamers.
    Miss Edna Devantler, sister of the
    bride, was maid of honor and trie
    brldesmalda were Mis3 Ruth Stenzel
    and Miss Irma Devantler. The best
    man was Mr. Edward Mueller and
    the ushers wero Mr. Harold Devantler,
    Mr. Irwin Stenzel and Mr. Bernhard
    Devantler. *
    The maid of honor and bridesmaids,
    who woro changeable tafefta gowns
    of peach, orchid and crapapple, all
    carried shower- bouquets to match
    their gowns. Tho double ring service
    was used. Benediction followed
    the marrlagtf ceremony. After tho
    ceremony a reception followed Immediately
    at the home of the bride's
    parents which was prettily decorated
    with spring flowers- 100 guests wore
    present. The bride's table was centered
    with a largo wedding cake and
    white roses and was set for 30. Tho
    young couple received many pretty
    and useful gifts. Mr. and Mrs. Stenzel
    will make their future home on
    the Buffalo-Falls boulevard.
    Out of town guests were present
    from Buffalo, Niagara Falls, Tonawanda
    and Medina.

    ST. JOHNSBURG, N.Y., Sept 14 - Mrs. Rose Stenzel, 74, of the Ward road, died yesterday afternoon after an illness of several days. She was a lifelong resident of the Town of Wheatfleld. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Otto Schmidt, of Wheatfield. and Mrs. Clarence Moeller. of North Tonawanda: two sons, Herbert and Erwin, both of this village; 13 grandchildren; one great grandchild. her stepmother, Mrs. Augusta Mahl, of Wheatfield; five sisters. Mrs. Mary Hartwig, of Pekln, N.Y.. Mrs. Ida Schultz, of Tonawanda. Mrs. William Hannaman and Mrs. William Lynn, of Newfane, N.Y.. and Mrs. Theodore Milleville. of Wheatfield, and three brothers, Charles Mahl. of Newfane, N. Y., John Mahl, of Tonawanda, and Fred Mahl, of North Tonawanda. Last rites will be held Sunday at 2 p. m. at the home and at 2:30 at the St. John's church. The Rev. Walter Thiemecke will officiate. Interment will be In St. John's cemetery.

    Was Lifelong Resident of Bergholtz Vicinity.
    BERGHOLTZ, Dec. 11-Albert F. DeVantier, 77 years old, a lifelong and well known resident of the Town of Wheatfield, died yesterday morning at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Herbert Stenzel, of the Niagara Falls boulevard. Mr. DeVantier was formerly engaged in farming, having retired about 12 years ago. He was a member of St. James church and in former years took an active interest in church and social affairs in Bergholtz.
    He is survived by six sons, Hugo, Harold and John, of Bergholtz, Edward and Bernard, of Niagara Falls, and Alfred, of Sanborn; five daughters. Mrs. John Voelker, of Buffalo, Mrs. Stenzel. of Bergholtz, Mrs. William Groening (sic), Jr., and Mrs. John Blank, Jr., of Sanborn, and Mrs. Edward Mueller, of Niagara. Falls; 22 grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. August Kroening, of Sanborn.
    The funeral will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Stenzel home and at 2:30 from St. James church, Bergholtz. The Rev. Otto Bruss will officiate and interment will be in St. James cemetery.

    NORTH TONAWANDA, March 24. Mrs. Alma DeVantier, 50 years old, of tho Niagara Falls boulevard, Bergholz, died Thursday afternoon at the DeGraff Memorial Hospital following an operation for appendicitis. She was a life-long resident of the Town of Wheatfield. The funeral will be held Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the residence and half an hour later at St Martin's Church, Bergholz. Rev. Otto Bruss will -conduct the services and interment will be in St Martin's cemetery. Surviving are her husband, Albert F. DeVantier; five daughters. Miss Irene DeVantier and Mrs. Herbert Stenzel of Bergholz, Mrs. John Voelker of Buffalo, Mrs. "William Kroening of Sanborn and Mrs. Edward Mueller of LaSalle; six sons, Hugo, John and Alfred of Bergholz, Bernard of Niagara Falls and Edward of LaSalle; seven grandchildren; her father, Ferdinand A.
