Herman Rietsch, 72, died early last evening at his home 164 Stenzel St. following a brief illness. he is survived by his wife, one daughter, Mrs. Albert Beutel, and one sister, Mrs. William Schultz, also of St. Johnsburg. He was born in Germany and came to this county, 42 years ago. He had been a resident of North Tonawanda for the past 10 years. Funeral services will be held at 2 p. m. Wednesday afternoon and at 2:30 from St. Mark's Church. Rev. Paul Fretthold will officiate and burial will be made in St. Johnsburg cemetery.

Herman married Wilhelmina in 1872 in Prussia. Wilhelmina was born in Sep 1850 in Germany; died on 31 Mar 1910 in Town of Wheatfield, Niagara County, NY. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]
