    TONAWANDA - Mrs. Freda (Schimschack) Hardy, 68, formerly of North French Road, Getzville, died Tuesday (June 25, 1968) at Kenmore Hospital, after a brief illness. Born in Germany, she resided in this area a great part of her life. Her husband, Joseph died in 1961. Mrs. Hardy is survived by four stepsisters, Mrs.. Hilda Stenzil of Niagara Falls, Mrs. Ester Wolanske, Mrs. Herman Wrege and Mrs. Charles Myers, all of Tonawanda; three stepbrothers, Clarence Wolf of Niagara Falls, Edward Schimschack, and Bernard Bush. Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Roth Funeral Home. The Rev. Card G. Olin Jr. will be officiating. Burial will be in Shrinersville Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

    SCHIMSCHACK - Herman Schimschack, 79, Washington St., Bergholtz, died early
    Saturday morning, March 14, 1953, in his home after a long illness. Born in
    Germany, he had lived in Bergholtz past 45 years. He was a member of St.
    James Lutheran church. He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Joseph Hardy of
    Getzville; two step-daughters, Mrs. Wilbert Wolanske and Mrs. Reuben
    Stenzel, both of Bergholtz; two step-sons, Edward Schimschack and Clarence
    Wolf of St. Johnsburg; 18 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; a
    brother, Fred Schimschack, of St. Johnsburg. Friends may call at the
    residence where funeral services will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. and at 2:30 p.m.
    in St. James Church. The Rev. Otto Bruss will officiate. Burial will be in
    St. James Cemetery, Bergholtz.
