    Margaret A. (nee Schnittker) Toellner, age 82, of North Tonawanda, died Tuesday, March 3, 2009, at her residence, under the care of Hospice. Born in the Town of Pendleton, she was a lifelong resident of North Tonawanda. Margaret had been employed as a Teacher's Assistant in Special Education for Niagara BOCES for 18 years, retiring in 1988. She was also an active volunteer for Pendleton Food Pantry. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Robert J. Toellner; two sons, Paul Toellner of Rochester and John (Gina) Toellner of North Tonawanda; two grandsons, Brandon and Daniel Toellner; a brother, Warren (Irma) Schnittker of Pendleton and a brother-in-law, Arthur W. (Doris) Toellner of Michigan; also many nieces and nephews. There was no prior visitation. A private interment will be in Acacia Park Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service Saturday (March 21st) at 11 AM in Pendleton Center United Methodist Church, 6864 Campbell Blvd., in Pendleton. The Rev. Thomas Kraft will officiate. Memorial contributions may be made to Pendleton Center United Methodist Church, 6864 Campbell Blvd., North Tonawanda, Niagara County, NY 14120, or to Niagara Hospice, Inc., 4675 Sunset Dr., Lockport, Niagara County, NY 14094.

    PENDLETON, Feb 25 - The Funeral
    of the late John Toellner of Amherst
    was held from St. Paul's church Sun-
    day afternoon. Mr. Toellner was a
    member of St. Paul's. This young
    man's death occurred on Thursday
    when he was found in the barn by his
    mother, apparently shot by a shot gun
    accidentally. Mr. Towllner who was
    28 years old leaves his wife, two sons,
    his mother and one brother, Henry, of
    Tonawanda. Burial was at Shawnee.
