Joseph Altmayer, 67 years old,
died yesterday at his home, 278
Fredericka street. Born in Austria,
he had resided in North Tonawanda
for the past 83 years. He
is survived by a wife, Katherine;
a son, Jacob; two daughters, Mrs.
Harold Jedele and Mrs. George
Proefrock; five grandchildren, all
of North Tonawanda, and a sister,
Mrs. Martin Matalensky, Austria.
Rites will be held Friday morning
at 8:30 o'clock from the residence
and at 9 o'clock at the Ascension
church, Rev. Daniel Malloy
officiating.

Joseph married Katherine about 1894. Katherine was born about 1873 in Hungary; died on 13 Oct 1957 in North Tonawanda, Niagara County, NY. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]
