    Adam E. Wahl, 81, of 2203
    LaSalle Ave., a resident of this city
    more than 67 .years, died Saturday
    (Aug 25, 1956) at his home. Born
    in Normanby, Ont. Mr. Wahl had
    been ill for some time.
    A former maintenance department
    employe for the Board of Education,
    he retired in 1943, after
    20 years of service. Mr. Wahl was
    a member of Bellevue Lodge No.
    316, I OOF.
    He is survived by his wife, Agnes
    t. Wahl; two daughters, Mrs. Ern-
    est Armbrust and Mrs. Robert Pitts;
    a brother, George Wahl, all of this
    city; a sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Bean,
    Anaheim, Calif.; three grandchil-
    dren and two great-grandchildren.
    Services will be conducted at
    1:30 p.m. tomorrow at Cobler's
    Funeral Home and at 2 p.m. by
    the Rev. Evan J. Bartell at St.
    Paul's Lutheran Church. Burial will
    be in St. Paul's Cemetery, Berg-
    holtz.

    Adam married HASELEY, Agnes Terese Dorothea about Nov 1903. Agnes (daughter of HASELEY, Lebrecht August and LANGE, Ernestine Louise) was born on 16 Aug 1885 in Town of Lewiston, Niagara County, NY; died on 12 Nov 1970 in Niagara Falls Memorial Hospital, Niagara Falls, Niagara County, NY.     The 50th wedding anniversary
    of Mr. and Mrs. Adam E. Wahl,
    will be celebrated with a family
    dinner Thanksgiving afternoon at
    their home in LaSalle Ave.
    They have two daughters, Mrs.
    Robert Pitts and Mrs. Ernest J.
    Amhurst, and three grandchildren,
    Nancy Lynn Pitts, and Jenny Carol
    and Donald J. Amhurst.
    Mr. Wahl retired several years
    ago from the Niagara Falls Board
    of Education maintenance department,
    because of ill health. Mr.
    and Mrs. Wahl are members of
    St. Paul's Evangelical Church and
    have been residents of this city
    for several years

    Mrs. Mary Wahl. 15 years old. widow
    of John Wahl, died at her home, 404
    Ninety-first street, this morning. She
    had been ill only a week. The funeral
    will be held from the family home
    Tuesday afternoon at 2 oclock. Following
    services at the Zion Lutheran
    church at 2:30 o'clock, burial will be
    In Oakwood cemetery.
    Mrs. Wahl was born at Hartersbause
    by Schllitz. Oberhessen, Germany.
    She came to Niagara Falls 39 years ago
    and had lived here ever since. She was
    an active member of the Zion Lutheran
    church for many years and formerly
    took a leading part in church activities.

    She. is survived by five sons, Adam,
    George and Fred Wahl, all of this city;
    John Wahl. of Buffalo, and Val Wahl,
    of Sylvan Beach, N. Y, and two daughters,
    Mrs. L. Motley, of this city, and
    Mrs. W. H. Bean, of Anaheim, California.
    One brother, Adam Hahn, of
    Vernon, B. C ; 26 grandchildren and
    seven great grandchildren also survive.
