Funeral services for Anita E. (nee Milleville) Rode, 88, of Hoffman Estates, formerly of Rolling Meadows, were held Feb. 24 at Faith Lutheran Church, Arlington Heights. Born March 15, 1915, she died Feb. 20 at St. Alexis Medical Center, Hoffman Estates.
Mrs. Rode was a homemaker. She is survived by her children, Thomas (Judith) of Inverness and Lynn (Gert) Kalweit of Elk Grove Village; her grandchildren, Kimberly Rode (Paul Doughty) of Chicago, Jeannine Rode of Carpentersville, Michael (Kerri) Rode of Rancho Santa Margurita, Calif., Christopher (Patricia) Kalweit of Arlington Heights, and Clayton Kalweit; her great-grandchildren, Alexander Rode and Quin Doughty; and her devoted care giver, Cristina Cesista.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edmund E.; and her parents, John and Augusta (nee Stoltz) Milleville.
Burial was in St. Luke Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Faith Lutheran Church. Arrangements were made with the Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd., Arlington Heights.Children:
