    Toellner. Later, luncheon was
    served from a table centered with
    pink roses and having tiny pink
    baskets as the favors. Miss Broecker
    was presented with a corsage
    and many beautiful shower gifts.

    KILLIAN - Fred J. Killian, 89, of 2859 Stenzel Ave., formerly of 28 Ransom. St., both North Tonawanda, died Friday (May 12, 1961) in the Hilltop Nursing Home, Gasport, N. Y.;., after a brief illness. Born in the Town of Pendleton, Mr. Killian had resided in North, Tonawanda for the past 43 years and was employed, for more, than 25 years at The Wurlitzer Co. before retiring in 1942. He was a member of Friedens United Church of Christ. His wife, the late Mary E. (Bayer) Killian, died in October 1955. Surviving are two sons, Calvin H. of Niagara Falls, N.Y., and Emmett F.; four daughters, Mrs. Verna E. Martin, Mrs. William Wankosky, Mrs. Raymond J. Bach and Mrs. Peter Gross, all of the Tonawandas; nine grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and a sister, Mrs. Anna Moll of North Tonawanda. Friends may call at Hamp Funeral Home Inc., .37 Adam St., Tonawanda, where services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday. The Rev. Carl Marks will officiate. Burial in Bear Ridge Cemetery. Memorials to Friedens United Church of Christ would he appreciated by the family.

    TOWN BUILDING INSPECTOR DIES
    Town of Wheatfield, Jan 18 - Building inspector Henry F. Broecker 65, of Ward Rd. died last night shortly after being admitted to DeGraff Memorial Hospital, North Tonawanda. He had just returned from a Town Board meeting, when he was stricken ill at his home. A life long resident of the town, Mr. broecker was a building contractor for 25 years. He was a veteran of World War I, and a member of Town of Wheatfield Post, American Legion. He was a member of St John's Lutheran Church and of the Lutheran Layman's League. Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth Mellenthine Broecker, a daughter Mrs. Emmet Killian, a brother George Pankow, and one granddaughter, all of the Town of Wheatfield. Funeral services wll be held at 2 pm at the home and at 2:30 o'clock at St. John's Church. The Rev J. Walter Thiemecke will officiate. Interment will be in St John's Lutheran Cemetery.

    BROECKER – Elizabeth (nee Mellenthine) Broecker, 78, Sunday (Oct. 17, 1976) at DeGraff Memorial Hospital after a lengthy illness. Mrs. Broecker was lifelong resident of the Town of Wheatfield, a member of St. John Lutheran Church, the Lutheran Women’s League of St. John Lutheran Church, a member of the Town of Wheatfield Senior Citizens, the Ladies Auxiliary of Wheatfield Post 1451, American Legion and a member of the World War I Widows of Niagara Falls.

    Wife of the late Henry F. Broecker, she is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Emmet (Marion) Killian of the Town of Wheatfield; a granddaughter, Mrs. Arthur (Ann) North of Rochester; two great-grandsons, James and Matthew North; two brothers, Walter J. Williams of the Town of Wheatfield and Edmund Williams of the Town of Pendleton and many nieces and nephews.

    The family will receive friends at the Fretthold Funeral Home, Inc., 1241 Oliver St., at Ward Rd., North Tonawanda today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Services will be held in St. John Lutheran Church Tuesday at 1:30 p.m., the Rev. Rolf A. Buchmann will officiate. Interment in St. John Lutheran Cemetery. If so desired, memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.
