(nee Gray) Demmin; nine children, Mrs. Edward (Sharon) Ciszek of Niagara Falls, Mrs. Henry (Suzanne) Case, of Town of Niagara, Mrs. Ernest (Christine) Reynolds of No. Tonawanda, Mrs. James (Donna) Church, of Sanborn, Mrs George (Jacqueline) Woodley, Jr. of Hilton, N.Y., John (Janet) Demmin of Hampton, VA . James (Diane) Demmin of Sanborn, David (Denise) Demmin of Town of Niagara and Elton "Chip" Demmin, Jr. of Sanborn; also survived by two sisters, Mrs. Melvin (Inez) Hillman and Mrs Thomas (Garnet) Zahno, both of Ransomville; 13 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Niagara Falls, Wednesday 7-9 p.m and Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral services will be held Friday, June 7 at 10:00 a.m. in Holy Ghost Lutheran Church, Bergholz with Rev. Stephen P Roehrs officiating. Interment in Holy Ghost Lutheran Cemetery.

Wilson, Oct. 28.-William Demmin,
70 years old, died from a stroke of
apoplexy Friday, Oct 23. He was
found dead in the barn at his home
In the town ot Wilson.
He was born in Germany and came
to this country at the age of 17
years, where ho has been a resident
of Wilson since that time. He Is survived
by two daughters, Mrs. Charles
Hellman of Ransomville, Mrs. Amlel
Schults ot Cambria; five sons, William
of Lewiston, Lewis of WHson,
John of Ransomville, Hermon of Wilson,
and Alfred of Newfane, and fifteen
grandchildren.
The funeral was held from tbe
home of Amiel Schultz of Cambria,
Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Rev.
John P. Barkow, pastor of the North
Ridge Lutheran church, of which Mr.
Demmin was a member, officiating.
The burial was at North Ridge cemetery.

family residence on the Pocket road,
early yesterday morning, following
several months' illness. She is survived
by her husband, two sons, three
daughters, two sisters. Mrs. Rachael
Krueger and Mrs. A. G.Weipert, and
three brothers. John, Charles and
William Borget.

CAMBRIA. Dec. 7 -Fred Berndt,
Sr., 83 years old. well known retired
farmer of the Town of Cambria,
died yesterday afternoon at the
family home in the Peterson road,
after an illness of several months.
Mr. Berndt was bora in Germany
and came to this country at the age
of 37 with his wife, who died 13
years ago. In former years he took
an active interest In town and agricultural
affairs and had been a
successful farmer. He had always
resided in this vicinity since coming
to the United States.
He is survived by one son, Fred,
Jr at home; one daughter, Mrs.
John Demmin, of Cambria, six
grandchildren and eight great
grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held from
the family home. Peterson road, Saturday
afternoon at 2 o'clock, and
at St. Peter's Lutheran church.
North Ridge, at 2:30. The Rev.
Carl oldach will officiate and interment
will be in North Ridge
cemetery.
