    William John Webb Jr., age 89, of North Tonawanda, February 9, 2015 in Beachwood Nursing Home. He was born February 19, 1925, he was the son of William and Charlotte (Baker) Webb. He was a 1943 graduate of Niagara Falls High School. He served in the U. S. Navy, in the Mediterranean area during WWII and was honorably discharge in 1946. He graduated from Niagara University in 1954 with a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree. He was an employee of the Carborundum Co. for 38 years, where he was a Manager of Accounting and Division Controller. He was an Emeritus Life Associate on the Niagara Chapter of the Institute of Management Accountants. He was a member of the Board of Directors of the Twin City Community Outreach Inc. He was a member of North Presbyterian Church of North Tonawanda and served as Elder and Trustee for many years. Beloved husband of Virginia (nee Brown) Webb for 67 years. Father of Bruce W. Webb of North Tonawanda, Robert (Monica) Webb of Fairbanks, Alaska, William J. (Nancy) Webb of Newfane and Gary R. (Pamela) Webb of Lockport. Grandfather of 8 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Brother of the late Arthur J. Webb, Mary Richel and Florence Summerfield; uncle of several nieces and nephews. Born March 1, 1924, Virginia was the daughter of the late Abraham Studholm Brown and Margaret (Lewis) Brown. Virginia worked for the unemployment office several years. She was a volunteer at the Twin City Community Outreach Clothes Closet, Friends of the Night People and DeGraff Memorial Hospital. She was a member of North Presbyterian Church of North Tonawanda and served on several committees. She was the beloved wife of the late William J. Webb Jr. for 67 years. Dear mother of Bruce W. (Carol) Webb of North Tonawanda, Robert (Monica) Webb of Fairbanks, Alaska, William J. (Nancy) Webb III of Newfane and Gary R.     NORTH TONAWANDA — Howard A. Wolter, Jr., age 84, of North Tonawanda, November 5, 2010, while surrounded by his family at the Beechwood Nursing Home, Amherst. Howard was a WWII U.S. Navy veteran. He had worked as a sheet metal worker at Draper Roofing for 40 years. He was an avid sports fan, an optimistic Bills fan and a sports coach, he was known for his sense of humor.

    He was the wife of the late Bernice (Schmitt) Wolter who died in 2009. Beloved father of Nancy (William) Webb of Wilson, NY, Judy (John) Moskalik of Lockport and Thomas Wolter of North Tonawanda; grandfather of Bill and Chris Webb, Tim and Steve Wolter and Andy Moskalik; brother of the late Ronald and Deane Wolter; uncle of several nieces and nephews.

    Friends may call at the Fretthold Funeral Home, Inc., 1241 Oliver St. at Ward Rd. in North Tonawanda on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. A graveside funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 11 AM from Buffalo Cemetery, 800 Pine Ridge Rd., Cheektowaga.
