Arnold W. Proefrock, 93, of the Town of Wheatfield, Friday (July 21, 1995) in DeGraff Memorial Hospital, after a lengthy illness. Mr. Proefrock was a former thirty-five year old employee of Bell Aircraft, retiring in 1964 and was a member of the Quarter Century Club. He was also a member of Grace Lutheran Church in North Tonawanda. He was the husband of the late Margaret (nee Pfanner) Proefrock.

He is survived by two daughters, Dorothy (Paul) Chapman of the Town of Wheatfield and Sally (John) Ferguson of the Town of Amherst; a son, Robert (Mary) Proefrock of the Town of Wheatfield; seven grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the Fretthold Funeral Home, Inc., 1241 Oliver Street at Ward Road in North Tonawanda, Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home Monday at 10:30 a.m. The Rev. E. Werner Weinreich will officiate. Interment White Chapel Cemetery. If so desired, memorials may be made to Grace Lutheran Church

Y.; four daughters, Mrs. Emma Kolbe, Mrs. Edward Manth, Mrs. Walter Wilke and Mrs. Edwin Freck, North Tonawanda; 31 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Gustav Schendel, Town of Wheatfield. Services will be held tomorrow afternoon at 3:30 o'clock from the residence and at 4 o'clock from the St. Matthew's church on Wheatfield street. Rev. Carl Frankenstein will officiate and burial will be in St. Matthew's cemetery.
