    Gustav C. Zuch, 79, of 188
    Fredericka St.. died today
    (Sept. 16, 1965) at his home
    after a long illness.
    He was a lifelong resident
    of this city and a member of
    S-t. Matthew's L u t h e r an
    Churah and the Rescue Fire
    Co.
    He is survived by his wife,
    the former Amanda Wilke; a
    son, Irving G. Zuch; a brother,
    George Zuch; a sister, Mrs.
    Edwin Pe'ters; and six grandchildren,
    all of this city.
    Funeral services will be
    conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday
    at the Frethold Funeral home
    by. Rev. A. W. Moldenhauer.
    Burial will be in St. Matthews
    Lutheran Cemetery.

    Zuch, 188 Fredericka St.,
    celebrated their 50th wedding
    anniversary at a din-
    ner Friday evening in St.
    Matthews Lutheran Parish
    Hall.
    A reception followed at the
    home of their son and daughter-
    in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Irvin G.
    Zuch of 52 Brundage Ave.
    Three of the original bridal par-
    ty were in attendance, Mrs. Ed-
    win Sahr, maid-of-honor and sister
    of the bride, Frnak Meyers, best
    man and Mrs. Agnes Wilke,
    bridesmaid, all of this city.
    Mr. and Mrs. Zuch received
    their guests in the parish hall.
    Mrs. Zuch wore a blue and white
    print chiffon dress. She wore a corsage

    of yellow and white rosebuds
    and a crystal necklace and earrings,
    a gift to her from her husband.
    Both the groom and the bride,
    the former Miss Amanda Wilke,
    were born in this city. They were
    married April 28,1909 by the Rev.
    Phillip Laux, pastor of St. Paul's
    Lutheran Church, Old Falls Blvd.
    They are the parents of a son,
    Irvin G. and have five grandchil-
    dren. They are Terry, Susan, Jud
    ith. Melissa and Timothy.
    Mr. and Mrs. Zuch have been
    active members of St. Matthew
    Lutheran Church. Mr. Zuch retired
    in 1958 after being employed at the
    Buffalo Bolt Co. for 22 years. Previously
    he had worked for the
    King Construction Co. for 28 years.

    TONAWANDA. March 4.-Carl F,
    Zuch, 68, died yesterday, at his home.
    438 Niagara Falls boulevard, after a
    long illness. He was born In Germany
    and had lived in North Tonawaada
    tha post 50 years.
    Mr. Zuch is survived by two sons,
    Gustave and George; two daughters.
    Miss Anna Zuch and Mrs, Edwin Peter;
    two grandchildren, a brother, William
    Zuch, and two sisters. Caroline Batel,
    all of North Tonawanda, and Mrs. Au
    gust Wlttop, Newfane, The funeral will
    be held Thursday afternoon at 3 o'clock
    at the home of his son. George Zuch,
    1350 Pierce avenue, and half an hour
    later at St. Paul's church. The Rev. F.
    A Hinners will officiate, and burial will
    be in St. Paul's cemetery.

    Mrs. Hedwig Such(sic), aged 63 years
    of 1330 Pierce avenue, died Saturday
    night at the DeGaff Memorial hospital,
    following,a brief Illness. Mrs.
    Zuch was born In Germany and lived
    in North Tonawanda for the past
    48 years. She is survived by a husband,
    Carl Zuch, two daughters. Miss
    Anna Zuch nnd'Mrs Edwin Peters,
    two sons. Gustav and George Zuch,
    all of North Tonawanda: two sisters,
    Mrs. Elizabeth Zuch of North Tonawanda,
    nnd Miss Ernestine Burow of
    Germany, one brother, Emit Burow
    of Germany and three grandchildren.
    The funeral, was held this afternoon
    at two o'clock from the home and a
    half hour later at S t Paul's church,
    Rev. D. H. Steffens officiating. Bur-
    ial was In S t Paul's cemetery.
