Grower, widow of John C. Grower,
who died at the home of her daughter.
Mrs. David W. Pillmore. Saturday
night, in her, 91st year, was born in
the town of Steuben. May 3,1921
daughter of Bryant and Sarah Young.
She was married to John C. Grower
May 22, 1844. Of this union seven
children were born, six sons and one
daughter, and for 54 years the ' home
was unbroken by death. In t h e early
1870's they moved to this place. Fol-
lowing the death or her husband. 10
years ago. she made her home With
her daughter, who has-faithfully cared
for her. She was a member of the
M. E Church and was always In attendance
whenever possible. Besides
This daughter. Lizzie. four sons. Gard-
ner Grower of Chicago. Wallace of
Nebraska. William of Syracuse and
Frank of Oneida, and two brothers,
Seth and Gardner Young of Watertown,
survive.
