POERSCHKE - Bernhardt O. Poerschke, 82, of the Town of Wheatfield, Tuesday (June 11, 1985) in Millard Fillmore Hospital, Gates Circle aftera lengthy illness. Mr. Poerschke was a member of the Adams and St. Johnsburg Fire Co., the Town of Wheatfield Senior Citizens and St. Matthew Lutheran Church. He is survived by his wife, Ruth (nee Heppner) Poerschke; two sons, Robert (Annamarie) Poerschke of Buffalo and Richard (Clarice) Poerschkeof the Town of Wheatfield; four grandchildren, Mrs. Donald (Donna) House of Sanborn, Keith (Karen) Poerschke, Carol and Susan Poerschke, all of the Town of Wheatfield; four sisters, Clara Freck, Leona Gillen and Ida Sumereski, all of Florida, and Mrs. Henry (Dolores) Brunea of Basom, N. Y.; two brothers, Paul Poerschke of Tonawanda and Edward (Edythe) Poerschke of Corfu, N. Y., he is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Fretthold Funeral Home, Inc., 1241 Oliver St., at Ward Rd., North Tonawanda this evening 7 to 9 and Thursday 2 to4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home Friday at 11 a.m., the Rev. A. W. Moldenhauer will officiate. Interment in St. Matthew Lutheran Cemetery. If so desired, memorials may be made to the Dialysis Unit of Millard Fillmore Hospital, Gates Circle or St. Matthew Lutheran Church.

POERSCHKE - Mrs. Agnes Wilke Poerschke, 68, of Indian Falls, N. Y., died Saturday morning, April 25, 1953, in Genesee Memorial Hospital, Batavia, after a short illness. Born in North Tonawanda, she had lived here moving to Indian Falls 20 years ago. She was a member of the Ladies Guild of the Methodist Church there. Wife of Rudolph; mother of Edward, Mrs. Leona Cole, Mrs. Ida Sumerski, Mrs. Delores Bruneau of Indian Falls, Mrs. Evelyn Freck of Sepulveda, Calif., Paul of Buffalo, Berhardt and Mrs. Clara Freck of North Tonawanda; sister of George Wilke,Patterson, N. J.; Rudolph Wilke, Valley Center, Calif. Grandmother of 20. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. in the Beach Mortuary, Corfu, N. Y. Burial in East Pembroke.

August F. Poerschke
August F. Poerschke, 68 years old, died at his home on the Ruie road last
night after a lingering illness. The deceased was born in Germany and has
lived in the Tonawandas during the last fifteen years. Besides his widow,
three daughters and four sons survive. The funeral will be held from the
late home tomorrow afternoon at 2:30 o'clock, the Rev. August Herring
officiating. Burial will be at Sawyers Creek.

Mrs. Elizabeth Poerschke, 70 yrs. old. died Sunday night at the home of her daughter. Mrs . Gustav Kriedemann, Walck and Nash Rds, after a lingering illness. She was born in Germany. She had been a resident of of North Tonawanda for the past 30 years. She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Kriedemann Mrs. August Ziehm and Mrs. Adolf Liebeck, four sons, Otto Braun, and Rudolph, William and August Poerschke, all of North Tonawanda, and a sister, Mrs. Charles Eichler, Ebling, Germany. The funeral will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Kriedemann home. Rev. Carl Frankenstein of the St. Matthews' church officiating. Burial will be in the St. Matthew Cemetery.
