    The Methodist church In East
    Otto. N. Y.. was the setting for
    the marriage of Miss Loretta Mae
    Bradley, daughter of Mr. and Mrs
    Harry Bradley and Mr. Jarvis Pettit,
    son of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Pettit
    all of Wilson, N. Y. The double
    ring ceremony on March 18 was
    performed by the Rev. J. H. Beck.
    Mrs Gladys Lang rendered a
    selection' of delightful wedding
    hymns. -,
    The bride was given in marriage
    by her father. She wore a white
    saiin town trimmed with point
    lace. A white coronet held her long
    veil of Illusion In place. She carried
    a bouquet of red and white roses
    with white carnations.
    The maid of honor. Mrs. Miles
    Bradley wore a nile green gown
    and she carried white gardenias
    and yellow snapdragons.
    The bridematds were Miss Nettie
    Ann and Miss Lucille Bradley,
    sisters of the bride. They carried
    out a scheme of pink and blue in
    their gowns and accessories. Each
    carried pink roses.
    Nancy Bradley, niece of the bride
    was flower girl. She wore a long
    white dress and carried a bouquet
    of roses.
    El win E. Arnold, of Ransomvllle.
    N. Y., was beat man.
    Sidney Pettit of Wilson, and Grant
    Bradley of East Otto. were the
    ushers.
    Mrs. Harry Bradley mother of the
    bride wore a blue crepe dress and
    corsage of white roses. Mrs. Earl
    Pettit mother of the bridegroom
    wore a gray dress and a corsage of
    red roses.
    The church was decorated with
    ferns, daffodillls and yellow and
    white candles.
    A reception was held for more
    than 50 relatives and friends in
    the church parlor. The wedding
    supper was served by Mrs. Ellen
    Sikes and Mrs. Billl Goodrich.
    Guests were preent from Akron,
    Ohio, Batavia, Indians Falls,, Fair-
    port, Wilson, Ransomville and this
    city.
    The bridegroom is a grandson of
    the late Rev. and Mrs. C. W. Jarvis.
    He served thee years overseas with
    the Fifth Army.
    Pre-nuptially, the bride was en-
    tertained at a number of parties.

    Pettit, 77, who died.at his home,
    Braylcy Rd., Tuesday (Nov. 19,
    1957) were conducted Thursday
    at the home by the Rev. R. Carl-
    .lon Faucett. Burial was in North
    Ridge Cemetery.
    Mr. Pettit was born here, the
    son of Silas and Isabell Bickford
    Pettit. With the exception of a
    few years spent in Tonawanda and
    Medina, he spent his life here. He
    attended Wilson and Medina High
    schools.
    He was a farmer until his retirement
    when he worked for the
    Agricultural Stabilization Committee;
    He was a. life-long mem
    ber of Wilson Baptist Church.
    . Surviving are his wife, the former
    Miss Rubie Jarvis; two sons,
    Jarvis and Sidney Pettit; seven
    grandchildren and a brother,
    Charles Pettit, and a niece, Mrs.
    Clifford Grohe, both of Cuyahoga
    Falls, Ohio.

    Earl married JARVIS, Rubie about 1906. Rubie was born about 1887 in New York; and died. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]
