MEHLS – Mrs. Erna E. Mehls, 67, of 1826 Ridge Road, Lewiston, N.Y., unexpectedly Friday evening (Nov. 27, 1964) at DeGraff Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Mehls was a practical nurse at Niagara County Infirmary for 15 years. She was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church. Survivors include her daughter, Mrs. Harold Korff of Lewiston; four granddaughters and many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Fretthold Funeral Home, 1241 Oliver St. at Ward Road, North Tonawanda, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., where services will be at 2 p.m. Monday. The Rev. Theodore Rehkopf will officiate. Interment in North Ridge Cemetery, North Ridge, N.Y.

DUROW - Mrs. Hedwig Durow, 71, at her residence. 62 Allen St., yesterday afternoon Jan. 15, 1956. Survived by her husband, Gustave; was mother of Mrs. Elsie Wilke, Buffalo; Mrs. Frieda Cozad, Town of Wheatfield; Fred, Town of Wheatfield: Karl, Ransomville, Mrs. Wilbur Blank, Pekin, and Mrs. James Stanton, North Tonawanda, and the late Albert Durow: sister of Fred Senechal, Tonawanda; Mrs. William Mueller, Havre, Mont., and Mrs. Erna Mehls, Lewiston. Also surviving nieces and nephews. She was an honorary member of St. Mark's Ladies Aid Society. Friends may call at the family residence where services will be Wednesday 2 p.m., and St. Mark's Lutheran Church at 2:30 p.m. The Rev. Paul H. Fretthold will officiate. Interment in St. Mark's Lutheran Cemetery.
