Frank R. Sahr, 68, died sudden
ly early Sunday morning from a
heaart attack at the family resi-
dence, 274 Falls boulevard. He was
a life-long resident of North Ton-
awanda. He is survived by his
wife, Mary, Nee Wendt; a son, Ed-
ward; a daughter, Leona; his
mother, Mrs. Hannah Sahr; two
brothers, Robert of Lockport and
Edward of North Tonawanda, and
five sisters, Mrs. Helen Kumro
and Mrs. Arthur Knack of Ton-
awanda, Mrs. Norman Paul of Sil-
ver Creek, Mrs. Mildred Toellner
and Miss Esther Sahr of North
Tonawanda. Rites will be held to-
morrow afternoon at 2 o'clock
from the Hamp Funeral Home, 37
Adam street, and at 2:30 from the
St. Paul's church. The Rev. F. A.
Hinners will officiate and burial
will be in St. Paul's cemetery.

NEWFANE. - Mrs. Mary E.
Sahr. 86, of 7147 Ridge Road,
Ridgewood, died Sunday (Dec
29, 1968) in Intercommunity
Memorial Hospital here after
a short illness.
She was born Aug. 15. 1882
in North Tonawanda and had
lived with her daughter and
son-in-law, the Rev. and Mrs.
Victor Hoyer for the last 23
years in Sharpesburg, Pa., and
West Seneca.
She was the wife of Frnak
Sahr, who died in 1943. The
couple was married in 1908. She
was a member of Immanuel
Lutheran Church in Ridgewood.
Besides her daughter, also
surviving is a son Edward, of
North Tonawanda, and 11
grandchildren.
Friends may call today from
7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday from
2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at
the Kenneth H. Sherrie Funeral
Home here. Services will be
held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at
the Immanuel Lutheran Church
with the Rev. William Dallman
officiating. Burial will be in St.
Paul's Cemetery, North Tonawanda.

The funeral of William Sahr, one of the
pioneer residents of Bush's Bridge,
was held at Saint Paul's Lutheran
church on the Niagara Falls boulevard
this afternoon, the; Rev. William
Schmitt officiating. Burial was In the
Saint Paul's cemetery.

bridge at seven o'clock this morning
after a lingering illness. The widow,
Johanna Sahr, and nine, children, six
daughters and three sons, survive.

The funeral of the late Mrs. Rose Wendt, wife of Ernest Wendt, of Martinsville, who was found dead in bed, will be held from the late home at Martinsville at 1:30 o'clock and at 2 o'clock from the St. Paul's church tomorrow afternoon. Burial will be in the St. Paul cemetery.
