It's been a long time since I've written and am sending blind copies to the research group, however, this one should probably be addressed to you.

Am finally in the process of making a genealogy book from my grandma Alvina Kriedeman. Upon checking my old emails, found where in 2004, you mentioned you have the line back to Carl Friedrich Kriedemann born 1775 in Lindow, Mecklenburg. After checking my K riedemann's, I find the following.
Gottfried Kriedeman--no birth or death date
Gottfried, Marie Christine-born 1803, Luetzlow, Germany
Gottfried (Sam) Kriedemann-born, 1812 Luetzlow, G. B. Germany- d.1/15/1858, Province of Pommern, Germany.
    m. 8/19/1840, Luetzlow, Prussia to Maria Wittstock, b. 12/24/1819,
    d. 5/28/1901, Union Cemetery, Jefferson, WI
IS SHE (Maria Wittstock) the one that came to this country alone to raise 8 children? Seems I read this from somewhere. They did have 8 children, last one born 2/26/1857. Names were William F., August F. W., Christian F., Christian F. ( the first one died & lived only 2 months), Marie C. W., Friedrich F., Wilhelmina, Gottfroed H. The 2nd Christian F. was my great grandpa.

IS IT POSSIBLE YOUR CARL FREDERICH KRIEDEMAN BORN IN 1775 COULD BE THE FATHER OF MY 1ST GOTTFRIED KRIEDEMAN FOR WHICH I HAVE NO BIRTH OR DEATH DATES? The date of 1775 could fit in with my dates of 1803 & 1812.???

On another email it was mentioned a "Gottfried Kriedeman was born before 1817 and was married to a Dorothea Wagner and that also appears it could fit in with my dates.

Also, it was mentioned you have a family picture of William Friedrich Kriedeman family. Could you email me a copy, please, thank you. I have the death record of Frederich William Kriedeman that is the same as William Friedrich or one of the same. He w as born 11/21/1840, died 6/3/1924. Father was Gottfried Kriedemann, mother maiden was Maria Wittstock. Informant was Victor F. Kriedeman. Son of William Friedrich Kriedeman.

I know this is quite lengthy but didn't know how else to explain myself.

    Thanks for all your time.

Friedrich married WITKOPH, W F Carolina on 7 Oct 1862 in Prussia. W (daughter of WITKOPH) was born on 18 Sep 1836 in Boock, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Germany; died on 20 Mar 1920 in Niagara Falls, Niagara County, NY. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]

  2. 5.  WITKOPH, W F Carolina was born on 18 Sep 1836 in Boock, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Germany (daughter of WITKOPH); died on 20 Mar 1920 in Niagara Falls, Niagara County, NY.
