(Town of Cambria) - Keith E. Doebler, age 64, of the Town of Cambria, died Sunday, October 25, 2009, in Buffalo General Hospital, after a brief illness.Keith was born May 15, 1945 in Lockport, NY, the son of the late Wilbert "Duke" Doebler and the late Agnes (McArthur) Doebler Drewes. He was a lifelong area resident and a 1964 graduate of Wilson High School. Keith married Carole (Leonhard) Doebler on July 23, 1977. He retired in May of 2007 as the New Car Manager of Kyser Buick in Tonawanda, where he was employed for 35 years. Keith was a member of North Ridge United Methodist Church and a member of the Charlotteville Lodge #73 F and AM in Lockport. He was an avid bowler, golfer, hunter and fisherman, as well as enjoying NASCAR, local auto racing and camping. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.He is survived by his wife, Carole; a son, Brett (Lindsey) Doebler of Gasport, NY; a daughter, Mary Jo Murray of Goose Creek, SC; his grandchildren, Justin Jeffords, Natalie Shaw, Tiffany Cox, Jordan Brock and Jacob Howland; his great-grandchildren, Isaac and Isabella Shaw; a sister, Diane (Donald) Peck of the Town of Cambria; a step-brother, Arnold Drewes, Jr. of the Town of Cambria; and two step- sisters, Linda (Gary) Treichler of Sanborn and Pamela (David) Erway of Wilson. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Friends may call at HARDISON FUNERAL HOME, 3648 Ransomville Road, Ransomville, on Wednesday from 7-9 PM and Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 30th at 11:00 AM in the North Ridge United Methodist Church, 3930 North Ridge Rd., Town of Cambria, with the Rev. Daryl J. Bennett and the Rev. Thomas Kraft officiating. Burial will follow in North Ridge Cemetery, Church Rd., Town of Cambria. Edward A. Doebler, 42 years old, a former resident of North Tonawanda, died today at his home on North Ridge road. He had lived at North Ridge Road for the past ten years. He is survived by a wife Louise; two sons, Wilbur and Verne; two daughters, Delores and Iverna all of North Ridge, and three brothers, Gustave C., Charles A., and Herman, all of North Tonawanda. The funeral will be held Monday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the residence and half an hour later at the Evangelical Lutheran Church in North Ridge. Rev. John Barkow will conduct the services and interment will be in the North Ridge cemetery.

Lee – Louise W. Doebler Lee (nee Pankow), 85, of North Tonawanda, Friday (Nov 21, 1975) in Port Orange, FL. Mrs. Lee was a member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church, the Senior Citizens of North Tonawanda and was a resident of North Tonawanda for the greater part of her life.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Hyrum (Dollie) Hayes of Port Orange, Fla.; 16 grand children; 26 great grand children. She was the mother of the late Doloris Beckett, Wilbert Doebler and LaVern Doebler.
Family will receive friends at Fretthold Funeral Home, Inc., 1241 Oliver St. corner Ward Rd., North Tonawanda today 7 to 9 p.m. Services will be held at the funeral home Tuesday at 10:30 a.m., the Rev. A.W. Moldenhauer will officiate, interment in St. Peter Lutheran Cemetery, North Ridge, N.Y. If desired memorials may be made to St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church Building Fund.
