    NEWFANE — Arnold W. Drewes, Jr., "Arnie", of Cambria, NY, entered into rest Thursday, March 15, 2012 in Eastern Niagara Hospital, Newfane, NY. He was born in Niagara Falls, NY on May 29, 1939. Son of the late Arnold and Marge Brawn Drewes. Arnold worked as a heavy equipment operator in the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 463 for 38 plus years. He enjoyed fishing, camping, hunting and stock car racing.

    Father of Debbi Dee Drewes of Northport, AL. Brother of Pam (David) Erway of Wilson, NY, Linda (Gary) Treichler of Sanborn, NY, and the late Bruddy Drewes. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.

    No prior visitation. Burial will be in North Ridge Cemetery at the convenience of the family. Memorials to North Ridge United Methodist Church, 3930 Ridge Road, Lockport, NY would be appreciated by the family.

    The couple exchanged
    nuptial vows Nov. 27, 1901
    at Bedford, England and
    lived for several years at
    Northhampton, where they
    operated a dry goods store.
    They have lived in this country
    for the past 60 years.
    Mr. Brawn is a retired
    farmer.
